2. Why we have to learn about Metathesis ? Metathesis is responsible for some common speech erorrs . Because, there are many people who pronounce the word different with the supposed is pronounced. Sometimes, speech errors make miss communication between speaker and listener. So, we have to learn about metathesis to know why there are differences pronounciation in a word ? And how metathesis can be happened?

3. What is Metathesis ? Etymology: From the Greek, "to transpose". Phonological rules may also reorder sequences of phonemes in a word , in which case they are called metathesis .

4. Usage of metathesis The author hopes, after learning about it, we can find out why there are differences in the pronunciation of sounds in a word . Then, when talking with someone who has a different pronunciation of sounds in a word, there will be no confusion and miss communication , so communication can go smoothly.
