2. 1-individual approach- the individual should be educated about the effects of good oral hygiene in the prevention of diseases. Advantage- can be done in the dentist’s clinic and there is an opportunity for the individual to ask questions and clear his doubts. Disadvantage- health education given only to those who come in contact with the health personnel's.

4. d. panel discussion Panel of 4-8 experts sit and discuss a topic in front of an audience. Audience are allowed to ask questions.

5. e. Workshop It consists of a series of meetings with emphasis on individual work with the help of the resource persons. f. Conferences or seminar Programs range from half day to one week. They usually have a theme.

6. h. Demonstrations Procedure is carried out step-by-step in front of an audience.

7. Health education for a large community or the general public can be given using the mass media of communication . Various mass media used are- Television - coverage to large no.of people Radio - economical and broader audience than TV.

8. Newspapers/press -widely disseminated form of literature Documentary films -provide realism and motion. Posters -they should catch the eye and must be artistic.

9. Health exhibition should be conducted during a fair or festival Eg.Aligarh Numaish -personal communi c ation is possible.
