outline (1) Extemporaneous Method: (2) Manuscript Method: (3) Memorization Method: (4) Impromptu Method: (5) Conclusion:

(1) Extemporaneous method: In extemporaneous method, the presenter presents a topic with the help of outlines. The great advantage of this method is that the presenter can deliver all the points without missing any single of them and has no fear of forgetting anything because he has all the points in written. In addition, this method is interesting but it requires an extreme preparation for both the verbal and non-verbal components.

(2) Manuscript method: In this method the presenter reads the whole presentat- -ion from a paper or script. Presenters prefer this method of presentation when presentation topic is technical or complex. As manuscript is the exact repetition of original words so one can rarely miss a point or a word but the great disadvantage of manuscript is that it is boring and presenter cannot make eye contact with the audience.

(3) Memorization method: In this method the presenter memorizes the whole presentation and presents it in front of audience without any script or outlines. Memorization allows the presenter to be free of notes due to which the presenter can make a good eye contact with the audience and can make his presentation more interesting while using body gestures. However, many important points can be missed from the presenter and forgetting a single line may cause disaster.

(4) Impromptu method: In this method the presenter presents the presentation with little or without any preparation. It often occurs when someone invites you suddenly to deliver some comments or to say a few words. Audience can get a lot from the one who have extensive knowledge but if a presenter has no extensive knowledge then the presentation will be boring and audience cannot get any benefit from it. He/she will not make a good eye contact with the audience.

Conclusion: The best method of presentation is the combination of extemporaneous and memorization because if you have good outlines but have weak memory then you cannot present anything effectively and vice versa. For good presentation you must have good outlines and good memory.
