The strange Transportation & magic S carlett Moony was walking in her beautiful garden which was decorated with adorable red roses ,her garden was surrounded with a fence. Scarlet was a pretty and intelligent girl with brown hair and green eyes . She always had something or the other to do always like making charts , doing homework , making a review on something….
However she was free this time and felt bored and irritated. Mother had gone to her school reunion and Father was at work. Scarlett’s brother was at soccer practice. She didn’t have any friends except her neighbour Oliver Smith who was a handsome boy with thick black hair with dazzling blue eyes. As Scarlett turned to the door Oliver Smith came out of his garden shed with a book in his arm . He said ‘Hi Scarlett , I was reading this book’. Oliver showed the book to Scarlett and threw a disgusted look at it. ‘ The Light Of Invocation , it’s sort of boring and I don’t want to read it .’
‘There are many interesting books in my house, you can borrow one.’, said Scarlett. As Oliver Came into the garden his eyes , which were as sharp as a eagle’s, caught sight of something and Oliver rushed to it . Scarlett followed suit and she saw a letter with a big, emerald stamp on it. It said: Dear Miss Moony and Mr. Smith, Kindly press the stamp on this letter for a journey which is extraordinary Yours sincerely Madam Zafalda They held their thumb on the stamp and , within a blink of the eye they reached somewhere else.
Madam Zafalda’s Feast They arrived at a strange place with weird decorations and Scarlett saw herself sitting beside Oliver with a large wooden table with a white lace cloth on it A lady with black robes , a black pointed hat and a velvet emerald cloak . She sat down and looked at Oliver and Scarlett with delight. ‘Welcome to The Goldie Goldstien , I am Madam Zafalda , please enjoy the Feast. Then, in front of them a wine glass appeared in front of them with pinkish drink. Scarlett took a sip, it was delicious , marvellous. It tasted like lemonade , rose syrup , pineapple syrup and something else which neither of them could recognise. They blushed redder than a cranberry as they took a second sip. Then a sudden voice hissed ‘ TASTE AND ODOUR SPREAD APPEAR SOUP AND BREAD’ and soon enough, appeared
Some French onion and bread. Oliver tasted a little soup , the finest, tastiest soup he had ever tasted and it was so satisfying that he felt like having nothing else right now. Then the same voice called ‘ chik-chok chopsy ’ and a plate with a whole roast chicken with butternut squash and potatoes appeared . Though the taste was wondrous , It had an odd taste of apricot jam. Scarlett and Oliver realised that the meal had came to a end and wondered whether pudding will be there or not. A minutes passed and no edibles appeared so they got up but
With a golden spark two fancy jars of Eton Mess appeared . They happily enjoyed their classic dessert.
A flight on a Unicorn Madam Zafalda appeared again and invited Scarlett and Oliver to what was a beautiful lawn, full of adorable flowers and birds. There was a little stable in which, much to the children’s astonishment stood four bright unicorns with horns, which looked like the horns were carved out of silver and gold. Madam Zafalda said ‘ You both will ride these two unicorns and end your journey when your ride is complete. The ride will complete when the unicorns will finish one round of this lawn .’ They rushed to the unicorns and climbed them. As they climbed they had a strange sensation and suddenly the unicorns made a convulsion and with too much speed started jumping violently and walked as if it were flying.
The Unicorns ,after a long time made the same convulsion and stopped. Madam Zafalda came again showed them a little bottle containing a silvery substance . ‘This is unicorn blood ’, she said. ‘It has healing powers, use it wisely’. ‘ Every 50 years we , magical people arrange a program where two non-magic people experience wizardry and magic. There are four events. This was your first, the next shall happen after two months’. As she finished her speech the next thing Scarlett and Oliver knew they were once again standing in Scarlett’s garden. They were looking at each other astonished and without a word went their own ways smirking at each other.
Time Travel Scarlett Moony and Oliver Smith were very special people, why? Nobody knew about them except their family and friends. They were the people who knew magic is real. They hadn’t spilled the beans as they were getting few magic experiences as price. Scarlett was sleeping over at Oliver’s . When she woke up she discovered a letter tied with a rope. It said: Dear Miss Moony and Mr. Smith, This is your second magical journey and this time you will receive two Moment- Retrievers ( a time travelling device). Please meet near the fountain in Peacock Park at 1 pm. . Yours sincerely, Pamela Hooke
Scarlett called Oliver and told him about the letter. Oliver was very excited. Time seemed to go slowly but at last the clock strike one and the two children rushed to reach the park, there they found a pale witch with forget-me-knot robes. She quickly handed them two mini clocks with a odd rotating switch . The lady in front of them said, ‘ Just tell the clock the time you want to go to and spin the switch, the people at the time you go will not be able to see you or hear you’, saying so she disappeared in a puff of smoke. Without a word they started spinning the switch and started muttering to themselves. Scarlett said ‘ Take me to my future’ and Oliver said ‘ Take me to the time where Dinosaurs existed’
Oliver had expected to come in a forest but arrived at a office-looking room and saw Pamela Hooke sitting there. She looked as if she had been expecting Oliver. ‘I assume that you cannot go to the time you want to go to?’, she said. ‘ How did you get to know of it?’ , asked Oliver. ‘ I used ephigancy against you, the art of reading the mind’ she replied, ‘ I knew you wanted to go to the time dinosaurs existed’. ‘ Non- magical people do a lot of guesswork in the name of research, we wizards can go back in time so we have discovered that dinosaurs do not exist’. Oliver’s face fell down, he liked dinosaurs very much, ‘ Then what should I do now?’ asked Oliver. ‘ You have to go to another time , oh and by the way today a witch trial was held on Hallow Street six hundred years ago, you may want to go there ’replied Pamela Hooke . Oliver thought that her idea was as right as rain. He felt he was on cloud nine.
He soon reached a place with a lot of crowd, everybody looked strange there , wearing old-fashioned clothes , standing in a big field and in the middle of the field was a stage and on it was a woman looking wretched and hideous and was mourning and crying . In front of her was a man sitting on a fancy chair with a table and a gavel in his hand . On his desk was what looked like a cauldron and a lynx-shaped key and on his desk was glued a piece of paper on which was scrawled: Burrough Edinburgh, the judge of this witch trial
On the man’s left was a man wearing a crown which Oliver assumed was the king. The man with the gavel began ‘ This lady was found by our Witch- Hunters, she is proven to be a sorceress and therefore I sentence her to the Capital Sentence She now shall be charred.’ But the lady who was sentenced to Capital sentence waved a fancy-looking twig which was actually a wand and soared up the sky. All the people yelled loudly and ran away to the safety of their home. ‘Though one could experience this only once in a blue moon I shall not be here anymore ’, thought Oliver and again spined the switch and came back into Peacock Park.
Scarlett’s travel disturbed Oliver hoped that Scarlett was having a good time but she wasn’t. She too had reached the same office as Oliver but couldn’t understand why. She saw Pamela Hooke and said ‘ Why can’t I go into my requested time’. ‘What time did you want to go?’, asked Pamela. ‘My Future’, replied Scarlett. ‘With the clock I gave you, one cannot go into the future but only into the past, your companion had a similar problem , he wanted to go in a time which didn’t exist’ said Pamela. ‘ What happened to Oliver?’ asked Scarlett. Pamela told her about the trials and Scarlett nodded to mark that he understood.
William Shakespeare’s paper Scarlett thought were she wanted to go and finally decided that she will go to a time of a famous author but which? Charles Dickens? No, he used to write outside, there must have been people passing. Just like as if someone has added it on her she suddenly thought about Shakespeare. She decided that she will go to his time. She rotated the switch on her clock and muttered ‘ Shakespeare’s time. The next thing she knew she was in a dark room with a light from a candle and in front of her was a man in old-fashioned clothes , writing with a quill and a tub of ink beside a bunch of paper. He made a convulsion and Scarlett jumped violently and hid behind a cupboard in the room. The man went out , Scarlett came forward and sat looked at the papers. William Shakespeare at the moment was writing ‘The Macbeth’!
Scarlett quickly picked up a paper and read it very quickly , it was written in the most beautiful handwriting Scarlett had ever seen. It said On the kingdom of Duran it was the worst of times , it was the age of wisdom , it was the age of disbelief , it was the epoch of Witches .........., suddenly the man came back again and Scarlett’s felt her hand quickly rotate the switch and she once again came into Peacock park and found herself clutching the paper she picked up , Scarlett gasped and saw Oliver come up to him and asked ‘ Where did you go?, how did it go?’
Bickering Anyone? ‘ Stop showering me with questions, I shall tell you everything’, retorted Scarlett but soon burst into a explanation and said ‘ I wanted to go into my future but I reached Pamela Hooke’s office, she said that I couldn’t go into my future so I went into William Shakespeare ’s time and this paper I am holding is a original paper on which Shakespeare was writing ‘ Macbeth’ and then I forgot that people in the time we go cannot see us and then Shakespeare went outside and I picked up this paper when he came back’
‘ Woah , like woah’ replied Oliver with astonishment ‘ What the heck ’, Scarlett snapped at Oliver.,‘ Woah ? That’s the only comment you have on this ? ‘ Look don’t you start bickering with me , what do you want me to do?’ asked Oliver angrily. ‘ What do you want me to do?’ , mocked Scarlett. ‘ I want you to help me hide this, this a original paper that too with the handwriting of Shakespeare himself , it is hundreds of years old and is now highly expensive . Even if we get our pocket money of hundred years we will still not be able to pay for this. ’ She gasped for breath after her long speech. ‘ Okay, I shall help you’, said Oliver.
‘ Someone’s back in his senses’ , muttered Scarlett but loud enough for Oliver to hear but Oliver just scowled and ignored her. He didn’t want to start bickering with her again. ‘ So any ideas about where we should hide this?’ , asked Oliver . ‘ That’s what I asked you to help with genius! ‘ Why are you quarrelling with me? I was just simply asking if you have got any idea.’ ‘ Well that is a simply irritable question’ retorted Scarlett. ‘ You know what Miss Moony, you can handle this on your own , bye.’ said Oliver and walked away. Scarlett was at the urge of tears and screamed to Oliver ‘ Sorry, please come back, don’t be so angry , please’ pleaded Scarlett but Oliver kept walking , ignoring all her apologies.
The Argument finally ends Winter soon came but Scarlett and Oliver hadn’t came over their argument still . However on Christmas Morning Oliver had a very good reason to rush to Scarlett’s house . He yelled ‘ Scarlett, Scarlett, where in the world are you?’ Scarlett’s mom was sitting on a bench in her garden ,drinking tea came to see what had happened that her neighbour was creating such a racket. She said to Oliver ‘ Oliver ,Merry Christmas dear, did you need anything ?’ ‘Yes Mrs. Moony ,I came to see if Scarlett was available’ replied Oliver ‘Is she so?’ he added.
‘ Yes dear, she is opening her presents with her father, I will call her right now – ‘ There is no need for that mum, I am here’. Scarlett’s mother left them to talk and went inside the house. ‘ So tell me, why do you sought me after months of argument ?’ asked Scarlett coldly. ‘ Oh, leave it!’ replied Oliver impatiently. ‘This morning I was standing in front of the dressing table in my room and I saw some words appearing on my mirror, it is about our magical adventure.’ ‘ Wow, I can’t wait to go there, when do we have to go?’ said Scarlett ‘ About that, we have to go today itself’, said Oliver gloomily . ‘ What, no! we can’t possibly leave our family on Christmas ,they will keep asking questions!’ exclaimed Scarlett. ‘ We will make up a excuse about a picnic or something’ told Oliver. ‘ Don’t worry, it will work’ he assured a doubtful looking Scarlett.
‘ Anyways my parents have gone to a concert or something and will come back tomorrow ‘ said Oliver. This was very good news. ‘ Well, let’s see if we can convince my parents’ said Scarlett . ‘ They shall not agree’ she prophesied. They went inside Scarlett’s house and looked inside the hall , they found Scarlett’s parents sitting on the couch . ‘ Scarlett, come inside ,oh ! Oliver, come inside dear’ said Scarlett’s father . Oliver nudged Scarlett and smiled nervously. ‘ Mother I want to go to a picnic with Oliver’ said Scarlett sternly ‘ With Mary and Jim, my classmates.’ she added to sound more convincing . Scarlett’s parents looked disappointed but finally agreed.
‘ Kids these days!’, they heard Mr and Mrs Moony saying . ‘ Where do we have to go ?’ asked Scarlett. ‘ Oh, in Robin Woods, there is a tree near the stream, on the tree’s bark a star is carved’ said Oliver. He took out a metal pin and pointed to it and said ‘ we have to poke the middle of the star with this’ ‘ Ok, let’s go’ said Scarlett . ‘ Not now, at four’ said Oliver. ‘ Let’s go to your house and chat for a while’ said Scarlett. They walked to his home and sat down in the hall. Oliver asked hesitantly ‘ Where did you hide the paper of Shakespeare ?’ ‘ Oh, yeah um……. I hid that in a old air cooler’ said Scarlett ‘ An air cooler !’said Oliver ‘ a clever idea! and I bet you kept it somewhere safe’ ‘ Yes’ said Scarlett ‘ you know the little farm house of my dad, there are seven unused cupboards in arow, kept in the backyard, I put the cooler there, even if someone went there nobody would ever know that it was in the cooler.
They made some lunch in the oven but it didn’t look edible so they happily ate canned food after cleaning up. After a game of cards they went to Robin Woods and after a lot of work, finally found the tree and Scarlett carved the star with the pin on the star and a ring of protective fire surrounded them and caught them , suddenly water was running from their arms and was reaching the fire coming from their feet. Oliver and Scarlett yelped for help but nobody came for the forest was quiet and nobody went there seldom. The water and fire suddenly combined together and they reached a beautiful forest with a flamingo coloured sky and beautiful flowers on their right. On their left was a violet coloured pond surrounded by cherry blossoms and in between the pond ,like an island stood a throne in a Christmas tree and bell shaped design.
They walked for a little while and came across a big palace and found a man waiting there . ‘ Mr. Smith and Miss Moony, welcome to Christiary , the land of Christmas fairies.’ he said. ‘ Christmas fairies ?’ said Scarlett and Oliver in astonishment. ‘ Christmas fairies are made out of people’s Christmas spirit which is magically extracted at the dead of the night on Christmas night when everyone is sleeping and even if anyone is awake it will get extracted by twilight and thus Christmas fairies are born’ said the man . ‘ I am Robert Steve and I shall guide you through this journey and we shall experience Christiary opera today’ Mr. Steve said.
‘ Why didn’t we get to know of this earlier ?’ asked Scarlett . ‘ Oh, these fairies don’t appear every day you know, they appear with a uncertain gap of time , it can be ten years or one year and that too only on Christmas day so we didn’t know that we coulsd invite you to watch and this place is magically sealed by powerful and ancient Christiary magic, the magic of Christmas fairies and don’t worry, you shall not be disturbed because Christiary opera is very costly and charges a lot of money.’ said Mr. Steve ‘ Hang on, we don’t have much money too spend on the opera.’ said Oliver . ‘ Oh, the fairies said that they will make an exception for the pair of you.
‘ The fairies speak and calculate?’ asked Scarlett ‘ Yes , but they speak only in Christiarysianish , their own language and sometimes in English. They don’t take money, they take silver and diamond , they are clever, those fairies’ replied Mr. Steve. ‘ When will the opera start’ asked both of them eagerly and Mr. Steve replied ‘ I shall inform you when it starts, you may mess about in the forest but only don’t get lost , stay together .’ They both nodded their head to mark that they understood. ‘ Oh and also take these’ Mr. Steve said as he took out a bag with carrots with some sort of spice sprinkled on them. ‘ This forest is full of powerful magic and all the flowers and leaves
have magical properties too and to know which flower and leaf has which ability you have to eat these , Magic Detector carrot sticks and remember you are to break only one flower or leaf from a single plant not anything more that from one plant , collect as many leaves and flowers you like but only one from one plant’ He then vanished in a puff of smoke and left Oliver and Scarlett by themselves. They went, as instructed together everywhere but found no plant or flowers but as they came near the palace they found a leaf on a large tree and they both took one bite of the carrot sticks and looked to the leaf , soon a small writing appeared and it said ‘ uses: Ephigancy ’
‘ What in this whole wide world is ephigancy ’ demanded Scarlett . ‘ It is the art of mind reading , Pamela Hooke told me’ said Oliver. It sounded interesting to Scarlett so she tore the leaf off the branch kept it in her pocket . They walked for some time and found a forget-me-knot coloured flower and took a bit of the carrot sticks and looked into the flower it said ‘ Teleportation’ , they tor e the flower And kept it in their pocket and walked away. They came across many such interesting plants and flowers and kept collecting them as they walked away. They came across another flower and ate the carrot sticks and looked in to the plant and it said ‘ Somniumluna ’.
Oliver couldn’t understand the meaning of this particular term but Scarlett did. ‘ It means it has the power of the Moon’ she said ‘ What is the power of the Moon’ asked Oliver ‘ The power of Moon is that it can bring happiness into any unhappy person ‘ said Scarlett ‘ How did you know what it meant ?’ asked Oliver. ‘ Oh Oliver sometimes pay attention in our Italian lessons, Somnium Luna means power moon in Latin and as both the languages are connected so that is how I knew this’ said Scarlett. ‘ How did you know what the power of moon is then?’ asked Oliver. ‘ Remember when you went to France for vacation, I had took a Astronomy course , but I didn’t tell you because I thought you would feel left out’
‘ Yes I would have felt left out but don’t think that I am not mad at you for not telling me about the course’ said Oliver. Scarlett shrugged and kept walking . Suddenly they came across a badger which was acting very strange. Within a blink of the eye the badger turned into Mr. Steve and Scarlett and Oliver realised that the badger was actually Mr. Steve . ‘Hello Mr. Smith and Miss Moony , I came to invite you to the opera, it shall begin momentarily’. ‘ Where will it take place?’ asked Oliver and Scarlett. ‘ In the palace’ said Mr . Steve. They rushed to the palace and when they reached they reached out for the door but Mr. Steve yelled ‘ NO! Please don’t try to open the door you shall die, it can only be opened in Christiaryianish , which among us only I know’
He rushed to the door and said in a odd voice ‘ Slyileorrumb ’ and the door suddenly opened and the inside of the palace was magnificent and was wondrous and they hall they were standing in had a little fountain in between the hall and two long shelves rang along the walls until a door at one end with numerous flower vases all in the colour of white but there were different, beautiful , many-coloured flowers in them, the floor was made out of pure white marble and the walls were painted white too. Mr. Steve led them through the door and there was a beautiful stage made out of shining diamonds and titbits of gold were scattered on the borders of the stage, behind the stage was a beautiful marble basin filled with white liquid and a diamond goblet sat on a little table beside it and a sign beside it said
‘ Drink this potion to summon the Christmas fairies’ . The two children and Mr . Steve took turns to consume a goblet-full of the potion. A wreath of spark appeared and six fairies appeared, three of them men and the other women. They were a little big in size and wore a gown of which the colour couldn’t be understood as they bodies were covered in spark, the gown had a pocket which was rather large , the fairies had curly hair and on their head was a star-shaped crown. They created a straight line and sparks appeared out of their body and more Christmas fairies appeared. They were about twenty of them now and swiftly created a stag which looked like the stag’s border was made out of golden ,magical spark and suddenly started singing and dancing as they started to separated ‘ Once was there the fairy king standing bravely on his throne then did the queen come and sprinkled her fairy dust’ They took out a golden , sparkling stick with a star and started throwing golden sparks out of the star. ‘ Appeared magical blossoms , they showered the king and flew in the sky and then around did they from and then did the land of Christiary form’. Then all the sparks formed a huge ball of magic and the stage flooded with spark.
The fairies vanished and four female fairies appeared one blue and mermaid- ish another green dressed and wearing a leaf and beautiful flower crown. The other was shining and wore a moon crown and was dressed in white and the fourth one wearing an yellow dress with a flaming crown . ‘ The Ferinadian fairies’ exclaimed Mr . Steve . ‘Pardon’ said the two children with astonishment. ‘ These are the most powerful fairies on earth and if they the throw something out of their wand collect it OK’Mr . Steve explained. He also handed out four tiny bottles . Soon enough the Blue fairy threw out blue spark and Scarlett collected it in a bottle. The other threw sparks of white , green and yellow. Each spark was collected in bottles. Everything turned black and came to normal again and all the fairies had disappeared.
They again came at the door which led to the forest with Mr . Steve. Mr . Steve asked ‘ How many plants have you collected?’ ‘ About six’ replied Scarlett. ‘You may have those’ said Mr. Steve. ‘ But give me that spark of the fairies , I need it urgently’ The two children handed over those bottles and within a blink of the eye they vanished and appeared in Robin Woods. ‘ Well, it was quite nice but the opera was rather boring to me except the last part and those leaves’ said Scarlett. ‘ Yes, I agree but we will do something about those leaves and do you remember that two of the carrot sticks are still left, we can plant those in my backyard no one ever goes there and we can plant and keep it in one of the bushes’ said Oliver . ‘ Why not plant the flowers too’ said Scarlett.
The next morning they planted the carrots and the flowers and happily set off to enjoy their day.
Weorendum Street It was late in the night when Scarlett couldn’t sleep and that is when a letter appeared on her bed and she got up to read. She was expecting a letter but this late? She swiftly opened the letter. It screamed: ‘ YOU HAVE BEEN INVITED TO A TRIP TO WEORENDUM STREEET, BE READY AT FOUR P.M TOMMOROW IN YOUR BEDROOM WITH OLIVER SMITH. FAREWELL’ There was a considerable amount of loudness in the message so it was obvious that Scarlett got rather alarmed.
She was exited to tell Oliver the news but a obstacle was in her way . She couldn’t go to Oliver’s house so late and therefore decided to go in the morning. Scarlett got up in the morning, dressed and proceeded towards Oliver’s house. She stole a look at the plants she had planted with Oliver two months back. She , not planed though it was, took a leaf off the Ephigancy tree and took a bite of it, it occurred to her later that it might not have been edible but at that time it was the only thing she could think of. She came at the door and rang the door bell and Oliver’s brother answered it . ‘ Come in’ he said in a cold voice. Scarlett looked into his eyes a, sudden voice said ‘ Oh boy, what the heck is she doing here?’ ‘ It’s so annoying to have here this early’ . Scarlett
realized that she could hear Oliver’s brother’s thoughts. She asked slyly ‘ I hope you don’t have any problem having me so early’ . She then took out the leaf and threw it in a dustbin.Oliver’s brother looked taken aback and cleared his throat. ‘ No, not uhh , a problem at all uhh , it is a pleasure having you’ he said hesitantly. Scarlett swiftly went up to Oliver’s room and saw Oliver staring at her as if a beggar had found himself some money. Joy was filled in his eye when he found Scarlett at the doorstep of his room. ‘ Whatever are you so happy about?’ , Scarlett asked in astonishment. ‘ I know that you came to tell me about our third magical adventure’ , Oliver said smirking. ‘ How do you know’ , asked Scarlett sure that Oliver had just guessed. ‘ Oh Scarlett, I know you, The least expected person to wake up before nine am and that too on a Saturday is you.’
Scarlett turned red but quickly changed the topic. ‘ We have to be ready in my bedroom at four pm’ , said Scarlett . ‘ Ok we shall be but since you have came wait to breakfast’. They chatted for a while until breakfast was served on the huge table . They happily feasted and went for a walk. Thereby was a pond by which strolled the two friends and finally bid each other farewell.
As the clock stroke four, Oliver and Scarlett waited in Scarlett’s bedroom. Suddenly they felt as if someone was pressing them from every side, every direction. As they appeared on the street of Weorendum . A smiling lady ,rather plump appeared. She was wearing a purple dress and a long cloak to go with. ‘ Welcome, to the charming street of Weorendum . I am Madame Kawasaki.’ ‘ Today we shall explore the wonders of the world of magic and wander among the wonderful products it has to offer. Let us now commence’. Scarlett and Oliver said nothing and moved on to the way shown by Madame Kawasaki . There were no ‘ products’ shop in the street only shops were one needed physical appearance.
There was a barber’s shop on the friends’ right hand side and on the left lied a shop of clothes and accessories. The barber’s was named ‘ Magick Mane’ And the clothes shop was named ‘ Garmonasia ’ . There was a huge store which lay at end of the street , which was a gigantic white-coloured building. ‘ The warlock’s potions’ was written at the top of the building in cerulean blue ink. Madame Kawaski , after a long time said ‘ We shall walk in the store of potions now. You will have the facility of shopping whichever potion you like but you must not reveal that you are not a holder of any magical powers and behave as if you had some inside.’ She gasped for breath
and continued ‘ Did I make myself clear?’ ‘ Yes’ muttered the two children . The shop was very , very creepy. It was dim lit and an old man gave Oliver a toothless smile and asked ‘ What do you want to buy , eh?’ ‘ Uh…… I will let you know’ said Oliver feeling confused. A shelf was full of tiny, glass bottles all with a golden cap and each had a label written in black ink over white paper. The labels were hand-written. One said : ‘ Latest product by the renowned potions-company Triotions : Healing potion for all Can cure any harm whether living or non-living ’
Scarlett went close to the bottle . It said it cost two-hundred and fifty . She asked Madame Kawaski ‘ Do we have to pay for the products we buy?’ ‘ No , you do not have to . It is free of cost for you’ came the reply. Scarlett happily picked the bottle off the shelf and kept it in a white bag she found nearby. She also told Oliver about the free of cost thing. Oliver too , mean while was enjoying his shopping very much. He had found a bottle which said ‘ Brain Boosting Potion By CauldronPunch .’ Oliver picked the bottle , thinking cunningly of his next exam .
After all the shopping that was done by Oliver and Scarlett , the two children went to the counter. A white crystal ball ( which made them feel like a prophecy was about to be created ) . As they went to bill their items the toothless man appeared again and started to take out the contents of the bags and each of the item’s cost and name appeared in the crystal ball and finally when all the item’s name and amount was created the man asked ‘ What name should I make the bill to?’ Madame Kawaski appeared out of nowhere and said ‘ I shall have bill so take it to my name’ . The bill was soon made and the children and Madame Kawaski were soon out in a yard.
Madame Kawaski said ‘ Have a walk, I shall come momentarily’ and disappeared in a puff of smoke. After a long walk around the yard Madame Kawaski appeared again and said ‘ This was your last and final magical adventure and you are requested to keep the secrets of the magical world secret . You have been introduced to the world of magic so that there is a balance between the magical and non-magical world . For instance, if by mistake some magic takes place in the non-magical world where you live , you are to make up a story as it was an accident. Promise the Ball Of Destiny that you will never ever tell the
secrets of the magical world to anyone’ ‘ The Ball Of Destiny?’ asked the two children in astonishment. ‘ It is an object to which if one makes a promise one has to keep the secret otherwise the person will endure great pain physically and mentally, both’ The two children happily promised as they had never told anyone about magic and never will.
‘ Have a good day. Enjoy the products and gifts you have been gifted. Farewell and good luck’ said Madam Kawaski . And good luck to you too, if you have stuck with Oliver and Scarlett till the end!
