2 ABOUT MADC Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. ( MADC ) is a wholly owned Govt. Company for developing aviation infrastructure in the State of Maharashtra Chief Minister of Maharashtra is the Chairman of MADC. Experts from private sector and high level Government officers are on the Board Special Planning Authority for MIHAN Project at Nagpur.

3 MANDATE Development of International / Regional Airports in the State (3 international and 7 domestic airports identified for construction) Operating airports either directly or through PPP Development of real estate for supporting the Airports – Multiproduct SEZ at Nagpur Financial model: Land Acquisition cost is borne by State Government, balance work on BOT basis

4 ABOUT MAHARASHTRA Highest Industrialized State, with 10% of population contributing 20 % of India’s GDP Attracted maximum foreign inflows of Rs.35,000 Crs leading in country’s FDI investment during 2012-13. Second highest urbanized State with over 42% urban population . Has 4 International and 16 domestic airports (all 4 international and 5 domestic commercially operational) 3 new large international airports to be constructed – Nagpur, Pune and Navi Mumbai
