AGE RANGES Cervical cancer is most commonly diagnosed in women between the ages of 35 and 44, with the average age being around 50. It is rare for cervical cancer to develop in women younger than 20. Additionally, while many cases occur in the 30-44 age range, more than 15% of cases are diagnosed in individuals over 65. 6
