Checking Modbus protocol on drive

2. ModScan32 is powerful tool, which can emulates Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII. It can
use serial port (COM), parallel port (LPT), Ethernet (TCP/IP) and Infra Red..
It is very useful to test Modbus RTU embedded in our drives.
Using serial port, ModScan32 can access Control / Status Word and all
group of parameters.

3. Modscan runs into a PC and needs a “RS-485 Adapter” to be connected to
the drive.

4. Control / Status Word Addressing
Control / Status Word are addressed as “Coil Status” by Modscan32

5. Parameters Addressing
Parameters are addressed as “Holding Register” by Modscan32
