Design thinking is a problem-solving approach that places a strong emphasis on empathy, collaboration, creativity, and user-centric solutions. When applied to HR, it focuses on addressing the unique challenges and needs of employees within an organization.

Gamification :- In Hrm processes, recruitment and selection activity provides a natural platform for crafting an experience for the job seekers in the reality of the work environment. In experimental recruiting an emergent filed, the innovation being currently tried out include coding marathons, hacking events, complex problem solving exercise, solving cryptic puzzles. Current application areas of the games include campus recruitment, Shortlisting, employee referrals, sourcing, and onboarding or employer branding. For ex:- gamification of employee referral program could happen through developing a scorecard and adding to scores per referrals. Other example:- google’s code jam, Domino’s Pizza- Designing Pizzas for Cash.
