About MultifabsLimited :
Multifabs started its journey in 1993 with stepped into the garment sector with
its first Knit garment named Multifabs Ltd. Which was one of the leading knit
composite garments manufacturing company at that point of time. Driven by its
own inveterate lurge for excellence and growth, Multifabs has today diversified
into:

2. Sustainable Water & Waste Water Management:
Multifabs values every drop of water. Water is the only resource that no one can import.
We have so many caring practices for water conservation such as,
Rain Water Harvesting system
80% Domestic Waste Water Recycling by STP (Sewage treatment Plan)
All the water that Multifabs uses in dyeing is pumped through its deep tube wells and treated
through a water treatment plan (WTP) of 150 cubic meters per hour capacity to remove iron
and other materials harmful to dyeing. This helps in increasing dye quality and also reduces
chemical consumption.
Hot Water Module (HWM) To ensure the required hot water supply to the dyeing plant,
Multifabs uses Hot Water Module (HWM) which recovers the condensate flow. Saving 20-25
tonnesof steam and 1550 cubic meters of water per day.
Multifabs is presently running a 60 M3 an hour Effluent Treatment Plant ETP) of Electro
Contaminant Removal (ECR) technology.
We are planning to install a new modern technology MBR system waste treatment plan from
SWISS TEX from Switzerland. Capable of treating 180 cubic meters per hour, it will enable
Multifabs to treat not only wastewater, but also 25% recycling in initial stage by 2024 and
further 75% wastewater recycle by 2030.

3. Sustainable Energy Management

We installed meters in every process in coming for tracking the energy.
We have energy conservation practices like Condense Recovery from Steam,
Economizer in Boiler, T8 light, Inverter in Compressor and motor, Trigger Nozzle for
Compress Air, Servo Motor, Energy Efficient Machine and so many.
Exhaust Gas Boiler (EGB)The 1.7 ton per hour Clayton Exhaust Gas Boiler (EGB) of
USA produces extra steam recovering and reusing gas generator’s exhaust heat. It saves
75 cubic meters of gas per hour.
We have installed 150 kW solar panel on the rooftops meets 10% of the total electricity
required by the factory & We are planning another 365kW solar panel on the rooftops
meets 20% of the total electricity required.
Multifabs Limited's climate action roadmap targets 50% GHG reduction by 2030,
considering a base year of 2018.

6. Hazardous Waste Management :
Our continued hazardous waste concerns have led us to join Geocycle Bangladesh in their
efforts to create a zero-waste future. Current plans are for Lafarge Holcim to use cement kiln
technology (co-processing) to treat Multifabs limited hazardous and non-hazardous waste in
a sustainable manner that ensures regulatory compliance.
