Authority In The Crucible By Arthur Miller
Authority is defined as the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.
People who possess this power are usually kings, presidents, priests, and any person that has power
over another in a particular sphere. Authority is usually is given to one by the majority, the people.
Examples of the nature of authoritycan be found in The Crucible. Written by Arthur Miller The
Crucible is a response to McCarthyism in the United States. Set in 1962 during the Salem witch
trial hysteria in Salem, Massachusetts, the Crucible exposes McCarthyism as a lie based on mass
hysteria. Major characters in the play that had played the most significant part on the effects of the
witch trial were all authority figures. The majority people... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

In the play, Parris is more concerned about his reputation, money, and power than he is with the
justice for the accused victims. He is more upset about his niece and Mercy Lewis running off
with his all of his money rather than being concerned and suspicious about their sudden
disappearance. About the personality of his character, it is said:Another way that the power of
authority can be shown throughout the play is through the power of the court that ruled and
decided who was to be persecuted and declared a witch. The people of Salem in the play had a
tremendous fear in the court. The courts authority is what caused them to have a fear in the court.
The people of Salem knew that speaking out against the actions of the court will get jailed or
killed. The nature of authority can be seen here as something that scares the people because of their
power and the magnitude that they may have over the people. During the play many people where
charged and accused of witchcraft. It had gotten to the point where their where stray animals and
orphans wandering the street because their masters and parents had been jailed on witchcraft
accusations. This collapse of the Salem community shows how the court had authority and power to
destroy a whole

Solar Temple Cults
Many cults in the world exist some are good and others are unpleasant. Some of the cults join
together to do good things such as meeting people and bonding with those of the same religions
and expressions as yourself. There are also; bad cults that have killed many people and even some
cults have killed even their own members although, there is not a lot of cults that have committed
suicide to end their own cultlike the Order of the Solar Templehad done. The Order of the Solar
Temple was a great example of mob mentality. They all believed in the same things, acted upon
and did things together that they would probably not have done if they were acting alone. The
Solar Temple cult was created in 1984 by a guy named Luc Journet. The cult was created when
another cult called the Knights Temple split which created the Solar Temple. The cult was
mostly known for the mass suicide as well as the murder of 74 of its members which occurred
between the years of 1994 1997. The Solar Temple cult believed that the earth would face a
horrible, catastrophic event in the 1990 s ( Order Of The Solar Temple 1). They believed that it
was good to get on a higher spiritual level before this horrible event happens and they decease.
The Solar Temple cult was very secretive, they kept their actions and beliefs as much of a secret
as they could. To become a member of the Solar Temple cult you had to keep everything a secret
that you learn from the cult, because the cult is all about being

In summary, it cannot be said that exact cause of most severe traffic accidents are known with
certainty but it is believed that speeding and drinking, jointly or separately, play some role in the
events that lead up to those accidents. Also to blame, in many instances, are the design of the
highway, the condition of the weather, the maintenance of the vehicle, the time of the day (many
severe accidents occur at dusk, with poor lighting and tired drivers), and the presence of radar
detectors. A study by the Ohio State Police found that radar detectors were present in at least one
of the vehicles involved in 69% of all severe traffic accidents on the highways of that state in 2005.
Studies in other states have confirmed that finding, with some estimates of the relationship running
as high as 75%.
The use of radar detectors is illegal in many if not most states, but neither the manufacturing nor the
marketing of the units has ever been banned by the federal government which, of course, is the sole
authority which could regulate their interstate trade. The U.S. constitution forbids any state from
restricting imports from any other state. Currently, therefore, there often occur an unusual situation
in which the use if the radar detector sets may be illegal within a given state, but the sale of those
sets is not illegal and cannot be prohibited within that state.
The manufacture and marketing of radar detectors was expanding industry,

Comparing Conrad s Heart Of Darkness And Francis Ford Coppola
Narrative figures Marlow and Willard in Joseph Conrad s Novella Heart of Darkness and
Francis Ford Coppola s film Apocalypse Now (1979) both play specific roles in presenting their
composers ideas. Marlow in Heart of Darkness is characterized as philosophic, skeptic that is
intrigued by the ideals Kurtz displays. Willard on the other hand is figure who is suffering his own
loss of identity the further he becomes aware of the atrocities that war and human nature possesses.
Both composers, even though they have varying contextual eras portray similar ideals, including
the hypocrisy of Imperialism, the capacity for savagery and evil inherent in all humans as well as
the emergence of corruption within all of humanity the further we are exposed... Show more content

In Heart of Darkness, Conrad uses Marlow to represent this idea in depth during the ending of his
text to where Kurtz is dying and his intended is distressed. Through the use of listing of work
tools which act as metaphor of his struggles I lived in and infernal mess of rust, fillings, nuts ...
things I abominate, because I don t get on with them , demonstrates how Marlow has been
touched by the darkness the further he was exposed to it. Conrad additionally represents this idea
when Marlow lies to Kurtz intended during their confrontation. I seemed to hear the whispered
cry the horror! The horror! the repetition here showcases how Kurtz s corruption is within him
even before he meets his fiancГ©. To continue the irony displayed in the line the last word he
pronounced was your name illustrates Conrad s idea that we are all touched by corruption and
darkness even if we seem to completely innocent soul. Contrast to Marlow, Coppola uses the
narrative figure of Willard to showcases how corruption can touch you but you can still escape its
presence. During the final sequence in Apocalypse now, through the mise en scene of dead bodies,
fog and rain we see Willard via a low angle shot rising from the depths of water (corruption)
getting ready to kill Kurtz. Even though all of humanity is capable of corruption through
darkness we are still are able to overcome its effect. Coppola emphasizes this thought the
chiaroscuro displayed on half of Willards face as he attempts to make a decision to join the
corruption laid down by Kurtz. Through a dissolve of rain representing the symbol of cleansing
and the absence of natural sound, Coppola is showing again this ability of humanity to overcome
corruption even if we are touched by

Tennessee Williams Use of Imagery and Symbolism in A...
Tennessee Williams Use of Imagery and Symbolism in A Streetcar Named Desire
Throughout the play symbolism is used to capture attention and to appeal to viewers emotions. It is
expressed through music, colour and imagery all of which help to heighten tension and reflect the
atmosphere created by an impending force.
The actions involved in the development of imagery and symbolism in the characters are, for
example, Blanche s sitting, her whisky drinking, her jumping, etc, actions which show her nervous
personality of a stressed woman. Blanche sits in a chair very stiffly with her shoulders slightly
hunched and her legs pressed togetherГ ўв‚¬В¦as if she were quite coldГ ўв‚¬В¦ (page 6). Then her

It could be said that Blanche herself is similar to the Negroes who invented the blues music so
prevalent in New Orleans. The blues expresses the isolation and depression portrayed by
Negroes who were taken from their homelands in Africa and the Caribbean to the Deep South of
America and were forced to work as slaves in the cotton fields. Blanche could relate to their
emotions of melancholy and anguish, although she would have been a slave owner back in Belle
Reve. This could again be Williams expressing an ironic point.
The Varsouviana polka represents Blanche s loss of innocence, and how the suicide of her young
husband, Allan Gray, triggered her mental decline. Only she and the audience hear it, and this
creates tension that is associated with panic and her gradual loss of reality. It is also a symbol of the
deconstruction of Blanche, as the music is only heard at times when she is facing imminent
disaster. The Varsouviana has an association in her memory with impending death, which means
when we hear it again, we see a foreboding touch planted by Williams. Williams writes in the stage
directions, the music is in her mind: she is drinking to escape it. This illustrates Blanche s desire to
escape reality while the haunting Varsouviana tune taunts her existence, thus driving her mad. This
is Blanche s way of wishing away a reality she

The Woman Behind Every Man
Matthew Lee
Mrs. Wong
ENG 3UAA a
16 July 2015 The Woman Behind Every Man Can it be argued that men play a bigger role than
women in life? Through the centuries, women are seen as less valuable than their sexual
counterparts, but time and time again, females have proven themselves as being just as
intellectually capable as men. This concept is present in William Shakespeare s play, Macbeth,
which is a tragic play demonstrating the effects of absolute power and corruption. The characters,
especially the women, are heavily influential and greatly impactful in the growth of others. Lady
Macbeth s actions greatly shape and develop the personality and motivations of Macbeth, leading
to his ultimate demise. Although Duncan dies at the hand of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth plays a
key role in manipulating him to complete the murder. Following the news that her husband will
soon become king, Lady Macbeth realizes she does not want to wait. She wants to be queen as
soon as possible and for Macbeth to be successful, but she is aware that Macbeth is not capable of
killing King Duncan. Thus, Lady Macbeth takes it upon herself to convince her husband that
killing the king is just, which is present in her soliloquy as she says, Hi thee hither, That I may
pour my spirits in thine ear, And Chastise with the valour of my tongue All that impedes thee from
the golden round, (1.4.24 27)
Macbeth has the ambition for power. Nevertheless, he does not have the capability to commit such a

Marketing the National Hockey League

Marketing The National Hockey League
In early August 1995 Gary Bettman, Commissioner of the NHL, Stephen Solomon, COO of the
NHL, and Rick Dudley, COO of NHL Enterprises,1 met in their New York office to chart a
strategy for marketing the NHL in 1995 and beyond. After a spectacular 1993 94 season, the NHL
s 1994 95 season had been somewhat mixed; the league had suffered a labor dispute and played an
abbreviated season. But there had been important achievements. For the first time in over 20 years
the NHL had a network television contract in the United States. Fan support for the shortened
season had been surprisingly resilient with attendance averaging 95% for the league ... Show more

As one NHL team general manager remarked, You have 10 big men moving at 30 mph, chasing a
3 inch diameter puck, and shooting it at 100 mph, so sometimes you lose sight of the puck if
you re new to the game. But if you are a fan, what a thrill it can be. The 26 teams in the league
are organized into an Eastern and Western Conference. Within each of the conferences are two
divisions: the Atlantic and the Northeast in the Eastern Conference, and the Central and the
Pacific in the Western Conference. The teams play an 82 game regular season from October to
April, followed by four rounds of playoffs where teams play a bestof seven game series to advance
to the next round. The eight teams in each conference with the best regular season records
(including division leaders) play three rounds to determine the conference winner. Finally, the two
conference champions compete for the Stanley Cup, the trophy awarded for over a century to North
America s best hockey team.
History
The National Hockey League was formed in 1917, from teams that took the ice that season.
During the following two decades teams entered and exited, leaving six survivors by 1943,
(Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red
Wings, and Toronto Maple Leafs) who went on to be known as The Original Six. These teams
were extremely successful and responsible for much of hockey s lore and legend. From 1947 1951
the Toronto Maple Leafs won four Stanley Cups in five

Gender Roles In The Turn Of The Screw By Henry James
Henry James used not only the fear of apparitions to create his supernatural story, but the fear of
not conforming to the gender and class roles of the society for that time period as well. The
Victorian Era occurred at the end of the 1800s and ended in the very early 1900s. It was extremely
common to constantly follow the unwritten rules for your gender.
In today s world, we talk about the Victorian Era as a time period full of prudish, hypocritical,
[and] narrow minded (Murfin 496) people. The reality is that there was actually just a high natural
drive for social advancement (The Victorian Period). The obsession with rising social class over
time could involve either financial or education status (The Victorian Era). The Victorian Era

A large number of gender stereotypes stem from the time period in which they are alive (Faye. A
Gender Based Look at the Turn of the Screw by Henry James). Correspondingly, the female
characters in The Turn of the Screw are the fictional reflection of the truth on the treatment of
women in the Victorian Era. However, the male characters opposed the traditional Victorian men
(Sherman. Victorian Gender Roles in Henry James). Just like it was in the late 1800s, women
were supposed to be pure, quiet, and available for men when called for. Whether or not the man of
the house was around, the woman was expected to maintain the happiness of the household
(Gender Roles of Victorian Era for Men and Women). The major contradiction within the time
period was the fact that motherhood was [idealized], alongside virginal innocence, but women
were subject to pervasive denigration (Gender Ideology Separate Spheres in the 19th Century).

Era, especially in the category specializing in the fear of male

Current diagnostic criteria for Angela s manic episode is described through criterion A D in the
following. Criteria A requires the individual to meet at least a one week period of distinct abnormal
and persistently elevated, expansive, or irritable mood and abnormal and persistently increased goal
directed activity or energy. Angela has currently been experiencing this particular episode for ten
day now and has demonstrated symptoms of increased activity for example the West Coast fight

this time Angela must be experiencing at least three of the listed symptoms that represent a

Angela meets this particular requirement because of the delusions and hallucinations features
and her current need to be hospitalized because of the threat she is hearing from the voices to
herself and the verbal threats she is currently making to the counselor about placing a hit on him.
Criteria D notes that the physiological effects of the episode must not be attributed from
substance use. According to the narrative, Angela does have history of alcohol use and
marijuana use but the narrative adds that her current behaviors do not seem to be related to the
episode. Additional v/z codes include topics that I would want to bring up in counseling. For the
code relating to Angela s personal history of self harm, I feel as if this would be one of the
primary topics that I would like to incorporate due to her tendencies to make suicidal gestures
with pills. I would like to explore more into her coping mechanisms and ensure safety nets for
future self harming thoughts and/or behaviors. I have also included the code relating to Angela s
psychosocial circumstances because I believe she is experiencing a clinically significant discord
with her parents and much of her delusions are focused on her irrational beliefs of what her parents
truly want for her for example, Angela believes that her parents only want to hospitalize her for the
disability

Zora Neale Hurston Research Paper
Zora Neale Hurston was born January 7, 1891 in a small town known as Notasulga, Alabama. She
was born the fifth child of eight children to John and Lucy. Lucy, her mother, was an old
schoolteacher and John, her father, was a Baptist preacher. Zora s family relocated to Eatonville,
Florida when she was just a young girl. When she was thirteen, her motherdied in 1904. That same
year, her father took her out of schoolto raise her brothers. At the age of sixteen, Zora was eager to

Scott depicts all of the events that Kody went through from the day he joined a gang up until
when he decides to leave the gang, and his life after the gang. He joined the Eight Tray Crips
when he was only eleven years old. He gets initiated into the gangafter his sixth grade graduation,
and he describes his initiation as an even bigger right of passage into society than his own
graduation. The reasons that Kody suggests that he had joined a gang has to do a lot with the
whole concept of belonging. He makes it sound like his family life was not a very good one, and

In this story Kody s actions are learned first through the observations of others in his
neighborhood or school. People all around him at the time were deciding to join gangs; it was
the thing to do. During his initiation he observed what the others did when it was his turn to
shoot at the people in the streets, and after he shot and potentially killed them he was praised
and rewarded with officially being a member of the gang. After that night his gang members
positively reinforced him anytime he killed or hurt anyone from the enemy gangs, at times even
civilians. Even while his mother was disapproving and there was a potential for severe
punishment from the police, the positive reinforcement from his friends was more powerful
because of his level of respect and admiration for them. An aspect of this theory that Albert
Bandura claims teaches people violence is behavioral modeling, which states that people learn
how to act by modeling what they have seen others do. This is shown throughout the book
because Kody ends up joining a gang, like many others that he knows have done, and he goes
along with what other people in the gang are doing and saying. He grows up around his gang
members and fashions his behaviors to be similar to the ones that he looks up to, and this behavior
is repeated with his younger brother, who idolizes Kody, when he joins

King Lear Comparison Essay
Originally written at the start of the 17th century, William Shakespeare s play, King Lear, has
become one of his most famed works. The tragedy was first adapted for the screen in 1909 as a
black and white, silent film. Almost a century later in 2008, King Lear was once more brought to
life through director Trevor Nunn s film adaptation of the same name. Staring Ian McKellen as
King Lear, the film adaptation is based on the 2007 production of the play by the renowned Royal
Shakespeare Company. King Lear is a story of betrayal, loss and madness and to accurately convey
this while simultaneously distinguishing it from other screen renditions, Nunn alters the setting
and utilises the colours of the costumes and backdrop to symbolise the virtues... Show more content

Characters with titles that derive from English place names, such as the Duke of Cornwall, indicate
that the film takes place in England. Also, many scenes occur on heaths which can be commonly
found throughout England but rarely in Russia. However, the costumes worn by male characters,
especially Lear s scarlet tunic, closely resemble those worn by the Tsar and his high ranking
officials. Additionally, Lear s 100 knights have also been transformed into 100 singing, squat
dancing Cossacks which further reinforces the films connection to Imperial Russia as Cossacks are
an ethnic group known for their historic loyalty to the Tsar. The inclusion of rifles as well as glasses
suggests that King Lear is set in the 1800 s which coincides with both Victorian England and
Imperial Russia. Although using elements from two eras may confuse some viewers, historical and
geographical references are negligible to most audience members, allowing them to generate their
own opinion about the setting. At the same time, the setting makes Nunn s production unique.
Since 1909, King Lear has been adapted for the screen on numerous occasions with the majority of
these adaptations retaining the original setting of pre Christian England. By drastically changing
the setting, it distinguishes Nunn s King Lear from other

English As The Official Language
The debate on whether the United States should adopt English as the official language is a complex
matter that has stirred controversy among political figures and American citizens. Though the
United States does not have an official language, bills are constantly being introduced to the U.S
Congress Houses to establish English as America s official language. However, Congress has yet to
come to a consensus which elucidates the complicated nature of the single language policy debate.
Opposers of the English Language Unity Act argue that it is unconstitutional because it violates the
first amendment. According to these opposers, constituting English as the official language of the
country will create difficulty in the lives of millions of... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Choosing to have one official language ignores the historical diversity of the United States and
ultimately contradicts the values of the country. This is because, it is oppressive against the
majority of immigrants living in the U.S. We are a country filled with various languages and
cultures and so we cannot build a wall and expect people to comply. Our ancestors migrated to the
U.S to obtain the freedom that others have. The freedom that enables us to keep hold of our rights,
religion, and nonetheless our language.
Throughout history, single language policies were enforced within societies to control
minorities. The U.S federal government often required its diverse ethnic groups to assimilate to
U.S anglos culture. We have seen it occur countless times with various groups including the
Germans, Chinese, and Japanese. One of the more severe cases of assimilation is of the Native
Americans. During the 19th century, the U.S strived to eradicate the lifestyle of Native
Americans by having it resemble American culture as closely as possible. One of the ways in
which this was accomplished was by founding Indian Boarding Schools . Native American
children were placed in these boarding schools where they were stripped of everything they had
previously known. In order to have students conform to an American way of life, they were not
allowed to practice their native religions, or speak their tribal languages.

MSC Case Study
Li et al.,(109) investigated whether human MSCs contribute to the repair of skin appendages
after injury. They co cultured BrdU labeled MSCs with heat shocked confluent sweat gland cells

of differentiation was found to be enhanced by EGF and the injured microenvironment. In vivo,
when they intravenously injected Labelled MSCs into full thickness skin wounds in rats, Labelled

However, when the possibility of MSCs to enhance wound healing and neovascularization by trans
differentiation into endothelial cells or fusion in cutaneous wound in diabetic rats was investigated
by Javazon et al., (114). They concluded that MSCs improved wound healing through indirect
mechanisms, as MSCs were found in close proximity to CD31+ vessels, which may reflect a MSCs
induced, paracrine mediated proangiogenic local wound milieu which lead to enhanced
vascularization rather than through direct participation and incorporation into tissue. They labelled
the cells with GFP and the tissue wounds were labelled with antibodies to GFP and CD31 , they
found that no double labelled cells were identified in any of the wounds. So trans differentiation
into GFP positive mature endothelial cells was not observed. Also, cellular engraftment was
restricted to the dermis and wound bed. As GFP cells were not found within the epidermis or
epidermal appendages, MSCs were unlikely to contribute to the keratinocyte population. But they
found that MSCs significantly enhanced re epithelialization, granulation tissue formation, and
neovascularization compared with control wounds.

Green Chiles Analysis Essay
There is a mysterious connection between grandparent and grandchild, one that transcends all
ethnicities, religions, and socio economic groups. In Jimmy Santiago Baca s poem Green Chile ,
he explores this connection via the use of chile peppers as a medium. Baca personifies both green
and red peppers to illustrate not only that special bond, but also the historical significance of said
vegetable amongst the Mexican American community. The speaker in Green Chile begins the

The speaker watches his grandmother prepare the green chili con carne in awe, knowing all along
that she wants to please him, even if it means sacrificing her true love in order to take care of her
family. Sexual metaphors aside, it is clear that the speaker loves his grandmother immensely and
offers a sacrifice of his own. Even though red chiles are clearly his favorite, he is willing to clean
his plate of green chili con carne, all the way down to the last bit of tortilla . He needs to a tall
glass of water to fight off the intense spiciness of the dish. He even hisses from the heat, but
masks his pain in order to not upset his grandmother. In the end, the grandmothers slaving away in

Shatnez In The Hebrew Bible
Shatnez
Some of the Hebrew laws that God bestowed on the people have the misconception of being
irrational, unnecessary, and over excessive. One specific law that has this connotation is you shall
not wear Shatnez, wool and linen together (Deuteronomy 22: 9 11). Why wool and linen together?
Why only these to fabrics? These questions are left unanswered in the Hebrew Bible because God
or the writers offered no explanation, thus, leaving the reader to ponder these thoughts. If we delve
deep into these questions, there are underlying explanations for this mysterious law throughout the
Hebrew Bible, especially in Genesis, as most of these laws were based off human social error that
occurred in this time period of the Bible. Although God s law of Shatnez seems like a strange
request to order on the people, it could have two possible interpretations. Its purpose could be one
of protectionary intent in order to further the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In addition, both the priestly garments and the tabernacle weavings were a combination of wool
and linen. The priest s undergarment was linen, and the vestment was made of wool. In this
religious context, this law seemed to be used more for a sense of separation. The law assists in
portraying the division between just regular people and the people who decide to devote their
lives to God and become priests. Wearing garment that contains wool and linen together, like in
the priest s girdle, might show a sense of holiness and closeness to God. The girdle itself is used,
to protect against any evil effect (Bacher 213). The law of Shatnez in situations of protection can
also be broken. As long as wool and linen are used for the protection or benefit of the body , or for
its warmth (Bacher 213) and not worn as an ordinary garment, it is acceptable to wear in

Case Study Sony
RESTRUCTURING SONY The electronics and media giant Sony was struggling through the late
1990s and early part of the 21st century. With each disappointment, it seemed that Sony s
management launched another restructuring of the company. By 2003, commentators were
beginning to ask whether restructuring was part of the solution or part of the problem. How
should Sony be managing its strategic renewal? Introduction For the first quarter ending 30 June

Each business division was in turn split into product groups. The electronics business division
was split into four product groups, which produced a wide variety of products. The entertainment
division, which consisted of the music group and the pictures group, made music videos and
motion pictures. The finance division consisted of Sony s life insurance and finance business.
The company s growth was propelled by the launch of innovative products and by its foray into
the music and films business. Restructuring of electronics business (1994) Under Ohga s
leadership, Sony witnessed negligible growth in sales during 1990 and 1994. Sales and operating
revenues improved by only 2 per cent during that period. However, the net income and operating
income registered a drastic fall of 87 per cent and 67 per cent respectively. Analysts felt that the
stagnation in the electronics industry coupled with factors such as the recession in the Japanese
economy and the appreciation of the yen against the dollar led to the deterioration in the company s
performance. It was noticed that in the electronics business (see Table 3), the revenues of the video
and audio equipment businesses were coming down or were at best stagnant, while the television
and Others group were showing signs of improvement. The Others group, which consisted of

Essay about Cardiac Catheterization
Cardiac catheterization is often referred to as coronary angiography or a coronary angiogram. It
is a radiographic procedure that is used to look at and visualize the heart and the coronary arteries.
During a cardiac catheterization it is possible for the cardiologist performing the procedure to see
how effectively blood is flowing through the coronary arteries. In addition, this procedure allows
the cardiologists to see how blood is moving through the chambers of the heartand how effective
the heart valves are functioning. A cardiac catheterization can also allow for the visualization of the
movement of the walls of the heart to see if the pumping action of the heart is normal. The primary
application of cardiac catheterization is to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The stent will be placed where it can be expanded to hold the artery open. Some stents are
designed to simply keep the artery held open. Other stents used are drug eluting stents. These
stents are coated with pharmacologic agents that work to prevent restenosis of the artery. Another
form of PCI is artherectomy. This is a procedure that has a cardiologist using a cutting blade that
spins rapidly or a laser beam to cut away or burn away plaque that is blocking a branch of the
coronary arteries. To perform a cardiac catheterization the patient is brought to the cardiac
catheterization lab. These procedures are performed by specially trained cardiologists, nurses and
radiologic technologists. The procedure is performed on a specialized table with fluoroscopy
equipment, cardiac monitoring equipment, and the use of computerized technology to assist in data
and image collection and analysis. To perform a cardiac catheterization the cardiologist will insert a
sheath, or a short tube usually into the femoral artery. A long very thin catheter will then be fed
through the sheath and guided through the arteries until it is in the heart and coronary arteries. The
physician uses fluoroscopy equipment to guide the catheter into the coronary arteries. To allow for
clear viewing of the coronary arteries, contrast material is injected into the catheter. As the contrast
material flows through the heart chambers and coronary arteries x rays are taken. The

Microorganisms Inhabit Every Sphere of Our Planet Essay
Microorganisms are very tiny living organisms. They are microscopic and may be unicellular or
multicellular (Madigan and Martinko 2006). The microorganisms include all prokaryotes and
some eukaryotes. They are usually not visible to the naked eye, but some macroscopic ones can be
seen with naked eye also (Max Planck Society Research News Released Accessed 15 September
2012).
Microorganisms include bacteria, archaea, protozoa, fungi, algae and some members of the
kingdom Animalia such as rotifers and planarians. Viruses also fall under this category, i.e.,
microorganisms but some researchers even consider viruses as non living (Rybicki 1990) (LWOFF

Dr. Strange Love Conspiracy Theory
I must say that Dr. Strange Love is my favorite movie we have watched thus far.
There are many interesting aspects to this movie. First I found it interesting that the paranoid
ultra nationalist Brigadier General, Who orders the nuclear strike is named Jack D Ripper. When
read and when spoken the name sounds incredibly similar to serial killer Jack the Ripper. I truly
don t think this was coincidental. The movie was filmed at Shepperton Studios near London,
Whitechapel , the neighbor in which the serial killer mostly stalked is also in London. Perhaps this
was Kubrick s way of framing members of the military industrial complex during the Cold War as
serial killers. Instead of brandishing surgical knives, they are detonating nuclear weapons. This
theory is furthered by the fact that President Muffley refers to Ripper as a psychopath and
repeatedly uses the term mass murder. Furthermore, in a scene with Mandrake, Ripper states he
denies women his essence. The physical nature of sexual intercourse and his wariness of it, drives
Ripper s irrational impulse to guard the purity of his bodily fluids against ideological incursion. It
seems that Ripper s conspiracy theory is born of misogyny. This is intriguing because Jack the
Ripper exclusively killed women involved in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

defined their day with their stage abilities and what they wore. Most of them also had personal

My Experience In Singapore
A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions. These
words by Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. perfectly describe how my travel experience in Singapore
this past summer has changed my life. Traveling to Singapore has been an item on my bucket
list that I never thought I would ever be able to accomplish at such a young age. Through my
travel, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the culture by living life as a local while
visiting the major tourist spots that the country had to offer. I also had firsthand experience with
the Singaporean lifestyle and I was so amazed by the beauty of the country. Because of this, my
travel to Singapore has given me a new perspective on countries and has broadened my horizons
in terms of travelling to a new place. On July 31st, 2017, my trip to Singapore commenced with
a four hour flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at seven o clock in the morning. Despite having
woken up just a few hours after midnight and running very low on sleep, I was euphoric that I
was finally given an opportunity to visit such a multi cultured country. As the airplane began to
ascend, I leaned back into the stiff seat and gripped on the armrest because although I have
flown a couple of times in the past, I always seemed to get nauseous and apprehensive. However,
my nausea soon subsided when the airplane levelled out and the flight attendants strolled along
the aisles to distribute snacks. Shortly after, I peeked out the window and admired the thin
wisps of clouds in the dawn sky until I succumbed to my much needed slumber. I woke up from
my nap when I felt a light tap on my shoulder by my brother, Alex. He told me that it was time for
the plane to begin its descent so I gathered my belongings and adjusted my seat until it was
upright. As the airplane began to descend, I was filled with excitement and enthusiasm. I could feel
so much energy rush through my veins as my ears popped and I finally heard the flight attendant
say, Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Singapore Changi Airport! As soon as I stepped off of
the airplane, I was met with many fluorescent lights lining the lofty ceilings and glass windows
showcasing the modernistic architecture Singapore was

The melancholy of life, death and old age, are one of the many issues dealt with, in Alan Bennett

INTERDEPARTMENTAL MEMORANDUM
DATE: May 18, 2013
TO: Fire Chief, Tinderville, Ohio
SUBJECT: Analysis of the Feasibility of Adding a Second Paramedic Ambulance Unit
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This memorandum is provided in response to your request for an analysis of the feasibility of
adding a second paramedic ambulance unit (PAU) for the City of Tinderville using the six
components of the fire service management cycle. The memorandum provides a review of the
relevant literature concerning the respective advantages and disadvantages of this addition,
followed by the rationale in support of its adoption.
REVIEW AND ANALYSIS
Planning. An indicator of quality emergency medical services care is measured by how frequently
the PAU achieves a 4 minute response time (Pons, Haukoos, Bludworth, Cribley Markovich, 2008).
Although an 8 minute response time is followed by many communities, this guideline has not been
shown to substantively improve patient outcomes; however, a survival benefit has been identified
when the response time was within 4 minutes for patients with intermediate or high risk of
mortality (Pons et al., 2008).
Organizing. On the one hand, the use of PAUs as addition to the emergency department extends the
reach of medical facilities, including mobile coronary care without sacrificing normal control
systems (Gee, 2007). On the other hand, though, a study of a community with a comparable
population and demographics

The s Nationalization Of The Suez Canal
Colonial power ruled Egypt for almost a hundred years, exploiting and extracting as much wealth
from Egypt as possible. After this long period of subjection to outside rule, Gamal Abdel Nasser
became president of Egypt in 1956. He was the first Egyptian who was a ruler of the people.
Egyptians, Arab nationalists, and many other world leaders loved Nasser and his leadership. His
swift, bloodless takeover and rise to president in conjunction with his smooth, calm speeches gained
him popularity. What truly made him infamous was his nationalization of the Suez Canal Company
that ended British influence in Egypt. Decades after his death, Nasser is still believed to be greater
than that of many other political leader since the Prophet Mohamed . However, many of Nasser s
actions demand that his rule be reconsidered. Nasser s nationalization of the media, repression of
political opponents, institutionalized torture of the Muslim Brotherhood, and failure to successfully
implement his national planning all suggest that Nasser s actions contributed to the many
economic, political, and military problems Egypt faces today
In one of the first events to centralize his power, Nasser nationalized the media in 1960 shortly
after becoming the central leader of Egypt in 1954 . Nasser became incredibly popular early in
his reign. Arabs and Egyptians rallied in support of his socialist reform proposals and Nasser s

Homosexuality In Ancient Greek Culture
Many ancient and classical societies influenced developing new cultures. Greek, Egyptian, and
Roman people had similar political and societal ideals that they adhered to, eventually inspiring
the modern societal world we live in today. Without the ancient and Greek cultural influences,
the Roman societal beliefs of sexuality would not be what is characterized as uniquely Roman.
As a matter of fact, it was believed in Roman culture that homosexuality was not alone
inappropriate, but it was the role of a male acting submissive that was considered shameful. Men
are to be seen as superior in strength, as illustrated before in the Greek culture with the Olympic
Games (Sayre, 118). While women were to be inferior and passive in nature. Due to one man

The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from our enemies . Betrayal is defined
as the breaking or violation of a trust or confidence that produces conflict within a relationship
between individuals such as friends, family members, or team mates. The people we trust or
rely on are the ones who are capable of betraying us. By disregarding or not respecting certain
relationships with people, our sense of loyalty can be destroyed. Some acts of betrayal can result
in short term success, sometimes acts of betrayal may be the ultimate downfall of an individual. As

Structural Violence And Its Effects On Society
Structural violence has become a frequently used instrument in the word of systemic oppression.
This type of oppression and unfair limitations of civil, criminal and basic human rights can cause
suffering and death to many innocent lives. Sociologist Johan Galtung was the one who
developed this theory of structural violence. Indicated in one of his articles Violence, Peace, and
Peace Research , structural violence is the systematic constraint on human potential due to
economic and political structures (Galtung, 1969, p.177). Galtung is telling the readers that
certain groups of people are systematically being limited to resources in society either directly or
indirectly. Structural violence has been described as the most basic of fundamental form of
violence, as it is expressive of the conditions of society that reproduce mass violations of
personhood twenty four hours a day, seven days a week (Barak, 2003, p.113). This demonstrates
that structural violence is an on going way to steal ones opportunities in society. Racism, sexism,
classism and ageism are all examples of structural violence. It can be visible and invisible and can
cause disadvantages for people who are considered poor or a minority within society. Structural
violence is extremely important as it could lead to poverty, starvation, sicknesses and deaths.
Although structural violence is a powerful and common method of ferocity, there are agents of
change who locally and globally contribute to the

Pregnancy Or The Coexistence Of An Intrauterine And An...
Heterotopic pregnancy or the coexistence of an intrauterine and an extrauterine pregnancy occurs in
about 1 out of 30,000 pregnancies. Between Assisted Reproductive Techniques and ovulation
induction, it is said to occur more commonly with the former. The patient presented in this case is a
29 year old primigravid who underwent ovulation induction with Clomiphene Citrate and was later
on diagnosed to have both an intrauterine and a non viable extrauterine pregnancy. The management
for this kind of pregnancy can be medical, surgical or expectant. The patient in this case was
managed expectantly. This case study presents a review or literature on heterotopic pregnancy, and
describes how this rare type of pregnancy developed in this index patient, how it is diagnosed and
managed, and its possible consequences to the mother and the live fetus.
Keywords: heterotopic pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, Assisted Reproductive Technique,
Clomiphene citrate
INTRODUCTION A heterotopic type of pregnancy is considered a complication and not a natural
consequence because it usually happens to women who are at high risk for having an ectopic
pregnancy or those who undergo ovulation induction1, as seen in our index case. It is a
simultaneous occurrence of an intrauterine and an ectopic pregnancy which can implant anywhere
outside of the endometrial cavity. In 93.9 percent of cases, the ectopic pregnancy usually occurs in
the fallopian tubes but other sites such as the ovaries and the

Analysis Of The Song Cortez The Killer
When using the song Cortez the Killer as a source on the European Conquistadors, a historian
should consider what type of source it is, its creation date, the author s origins, and how the
Conquistadors are portrayed. A historian should consider these things because they might have an
effect on the credibility of the source and the type of information they can give, which refers to
things such as perspective. Firstly, the song Cortez the Killer is a secondary source written by
Neil Young in 1975. A book by Neil s brother, Scott Young, informs us that Neil had no connection
to the Aztecs or Spanish. The song is a secondary source because it was written in 1975, well after
the encounter between Montezuma and Cortez. This would tell a historian

The W. P. Swanson Confectionery Era Essay
The W. P. Swanson Confectionery Era
An unfortunate incident occurred toward the conclusion of the 1920s, when robbers broke into
Bill, Clara, and Anton s garage and stole their brand new Buick automobile. While Clara lay in bed
on the eventful night, she heard noise outside. Fearful of the consequences of a confrontation with
the intruders, to safeguard Bill she refrained from waking him. Blissfully unaware of the burglars,
Bill slept through the night and didn t discover the theft until morning.26 An investigation revealed
that after breaking into the garage, the thieves pushed the car out of the garage, the full length of
the driveway onto the street, and down the street away from the scene of the crime, before starting
the Buick and driving it away. The authorities never recovered the automobile.27
In 1929, Clara became pregnant at the age of thirty five, regarded as too advanced in years to begin
a family. An unexpected child this late in life, of course, created elation for the blessed arrival.
However, in addition to Clara s age, her family and personal history also caused grave concerns
for the safety of both mother and baby. The death of Clara s mother from frail health attributed to
childbirth and the death of Clara s only sibling, a brother, during his first year of life weighed
heavily on Bill, Clara, and Anton.28 Furthermore, a miscarriage early in their marriage, while still
farming in Peaceful Valley, exacerbated the concern.29 In an era when

Starting Off With The Gordon Growth Model
Starting off with the Gordon Growth Model was developed by Professor Myron Gordon of the
University of Toronto. It explains that if any investor is aware of the dividends handed out in a
year by any company, and at what rate that dividend will grow, the investor is able to determine
the actual value of the stock, which describes what the investor should pay at most for the
selected stock issued by the company. (Ozyasar, 2015) The Gordon Growth models inputs are
relatively easy to determine. The dividends can be found using any platform or the general news
(since they are announced publicly). The investor generally has an idea of the required return
he/she demands of a certain stock they are investing in i.e 12%. The problematic issue arises in
determining the rate at which a dividend will grow. This is determined through being able to
make assumptions on what product will grow in the market or in general which company will
grow, which usually makes final results inexact Ozyasar describes. The limitation of the Gordon
Growth Model arises when there is no constant growth rate on a stock dividend, which in reality
as Ozyasar describes is almost never the case. Despite these limitations the GGM is still a
powerful tool used by investors constantly to make decisions on what required return or growth
rate would they require for a stock to be favorable and from that an investor determines how to
move on with their portfolio. For example Michael Blair discussed the use of the

Global Directions in Language Travel report, in 2008, in the language studies abroad travel market,
more than 1.3 million students studied languages abroad. This limited attention is surprising, given
that more and more students are studying abroad. Thus, the objective of this study is to investigate

business interests and academic researchers to maximize the chances for success. Gertner and
Kotler (2004) investigated how notions about a place are formed in the consumer s mind. The
authors affirm: Country images, or knowledge structures related to places, or place schemata, are
commonly used as short cuts for information processing and consumer decision heuristics (Kotler
Gertner, 2002, p. 251). Govers and Go (2003) argue that the image of a tourist destination is
composed of distinct attributes; it is these that tourists consider while evaluating a destination. More
than 80% of the destination image studies conducted from 1973 to 2000 used lists of attributes, in
structured questionnaires, to operationalize destination image (Pike, 2003). In general, scholars
believe that people s image toward a destination is the result of a combination of particular beliefs
or attributes. Thus, scholars have tried to conceptualize destination branding with more accuracy by
using structured and unstructured research methods to measure destination image. Unstructured
research methods include the use of photos and/or open ended questions, while structured methods
used self response questionnaires with lists of destination attributes. Two types of attributes
surfaced in earlier studies about destination image: those that were generally

Essay about Neutral Diction in Disillusionment of Ten...
The Disillusionment of Ten O Clock, what a time of night! The houses are haunted by white night
gowns. Everything is the same from one house to the next. Not only does Wallace Stevens hint at
the Disillusionment of Ten O Clock, he also brings forth feelings of loneliness and despair through
his selectuse of neutral diction. Stevensemphasizes neutral diction using parallelism and repetition,
the sameness of the syntax, and an ironic change in wording. Nevertheless, the emotion of the poem
is only brought about by Stevens specific use of neutral diction.

These feelings are reflected onto the reader, who in turn obtains the same emotions as the author,
those of loneliness and despair for the situation.
In every poem, the diction an author chooses can drastically change the impression the reader
acquires. Disillusionment of Ten O Clock has proven itself to not be an exception. Likewise, the
order the words are placed in can also alter a poem. Stevens was aware of this fact and so in his
poem, he paid special attention to the syntax of his words. More specifically, the author used the
sameness of the syntax to help get his point across to the reader. The majority of the sentences and
lines in this poem are similarly structured. ...Or purple with green rings, or green with yellow
rings... In doing this, Stevens was able to show the emotions of loneliness and despair that he felt at
this hour.
Syntax and parallelism also played a large part in the author s emphasis of his point. By piecing
both of these things together, Stevens was able to provide the reader with an ironic change in
wording for the last four lines of the poem. It is perhaps, these last four lines that are most
important in the entire poem. Not only do they offer the reader juxtaposition between characters,
but they also illustrate the author s loneliness and despair. People are not going to dream of
baboons and periwinkles. Only, here and there, an old sailor, drunk and asleep in his boots, catches
tigers in red weather. The sudden change

Women in history have always been the less dominant sex. They have to conform to societal
standard and act the part that is stereotypically place in society for them. Women are
stereotypically mothers, wives and caretakers of their family. The Awakening by Kate Chopin and
Adventure by Sherwood Anderson are two literature pieces that share the theme of suppressed
sexual desires. Chopin work tells of a womanby the name of Edna, who is living in the Victorian
era. She is a mother and wife that is unhappy with the life she is currently living. To bring
happiness and pleasure into her life she starts to seek attention from other men, which leads to her
sexual awakening and eventual suicide. Similarly, Anderson work tells of a young woman by the

Chopin and Anderson are telling us by suppressing one sexual desire it leads to deep frustration.
The main character in the two texts, Edna and Alice, both yearn for sexual freedom that is guarded
by a constraining society, as a result they become isolated, lonely and frustrated. Edna find
fulfillment through her experiences with other men, while Alice find fulfillment through her
obsession with inanimate objects.
Edna and Alice are both isolating themselves because they cannot express their sexual feelings the
way they want to, due to societal standards. Edna in The Awakening is detached from people
around her because she is realizing she doesn t have to conform to a woman role that is defined by
society. As quoted, Once she stopped, and taking off her wedding ring, flung it upon the carpet.
When she saw it lying there, she stamped her heel upon it, striving to crush it (57). This is the

Ocean City is a beautiful vacation place, not just for the summer. Many people go there to relax,
make memories and have a good time. It is a fun filled, family friendly vacation place that
everyone will enjoy and it is worth the drive. Ocean City has a lot of history to go with it, the
first hotel was built by Isaac Coffin in 1869, it was the first beachfront cottage to receive paying
guests, who came to fish, relax, enjoy the beauty of the ocean, and enjoy the sand. Ocean City
extends nearly 10 miles from the southern inlet to the Delawareline. Now there are hotels, motels,
apartments, houses, and condos. Ocean city expanded when the Chesapeake Bay bridgewas
finished, by the 1970 s there were big businesses and more apartments being built. Ocean City is
located near Fenwick Island, near the Delaware line. On the bridge, you get a beautiful view of
the bay and you see boats going all around you and under you. It is a three to four hour drive
depending on traffic. Once you get to Ocean City, depending on where you are, there is a view
of the bay on one side and on the other side, you have a beautiful view of the waves and the sand.

Paul Bernardo Research Paper
Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka are dubbed as the Ken and Barbie Killers because of the
crimes they committed as a couple during the 1990s. Paul was 23 and Karla was 17 years old
when their relationship began. The two young adults were perfectly normal; with their good looks
and charming manners no one suspected these average Canadian citizens to be psychopathic killers.
Brief Background:
Karla Leanne Homolka, born in 1970, grew up in Ontario with a loving family which included her
two sisters and parents. Paul Kenneth Bernardo was born in 1964, in Scarborough and throughout
childhood, faced issues at home with an abusive father and depressed mother. Despite this he grew

Karla received 12 years imprisonment due to the plea bargain. She was originally thought to be a
victim of Paul Bernardo s monstrous influence but when the tapes were watched they found her to
be a more active participant than what was originally thought. She is free today.
Theories of Punishment:
Both the theories of punishment behind the sentences were retribution. Paul is not expected to
come out of prison and Karla completed her 12 years in prison without much rehabilitation. In cases
like these where the criminal committed such terrible crimes, it would not be expected that
anything other the retribution be enforced. Unfortunately, the theory of retribution has hardly
served justice for Karla as she should still be receiving punishment by being in prison.

The Ethics of Online Medical Records
Abstract: This paper describes the ethical implications of developing a national online medical
database. Such a database would contain the lifetime health records of every U.S. resident by
combining information from a variety of sources. The advantages of such a system are many, but in
the end, the question remains whether patients want to trade privacy for better healthcare.

physicians diagnose her with stroke, and she is immediately hospitalized. Two days later, her son

Today, the medical records of most Americans are scattered across multiple clinics and hospitals,
possibly across several states. The task of piecing together a patient s medical history can
become quite time consuming and laborious, as the files first need to be located and then faxed
[5]. The possibility of combining medical records into a central medical database would solve
many of these problems, as well as bring new benefits. With a shared medical database, doctors
would have vital information about a patient at their fingertips. Very little time would be lost in
looking for a patient s medical records and piecing the data together.
A shared medical database would save lives by providing accurate and complete information to
doctors, especially those not familiar with their patients. For instance, if a person had a serious
accident while vacationing in a different state, the doctors there would have instant access to his
medical records in his home state. Locating the patient s family doctor and faxing the patient s
medical history would be unnecessary. If the patient has allergies to certain drugs, the doctors
would be aware of it, thus avoiding further complications [6]. With more complete information,
doctors would be given the power to treat an unfamiliar, out of state patients in a timely and
effective manner.
Sharing medical data would also enormously benefit organizations

Essay #2
The Objectification of Women in On the Road A Feminist Criticism In On the Road there is an
ever present objectification of women. As a result, the woman loses her human qualities and can be
compared to an inanimate object. There are several ways in which this objectification takes form in
the novel. It is achieved through the act of gazing at women. The woman can also be used as a
means to achieve something else, in this case sensual pleasure. Since the culture described in the
novel is highly hedonistic, pleasure in terms of sex is crucial to Sal and his friends. Treating
women as objects also implies to me that they are replaceable in the same way as items are

Moreover, when he describes her breasts as straight and true it is implied that she looks the way a
beautiful woman should. Likewise, his second girlfriend Lucille is introduced in the text as a
beautiful Italian honey haired darling (On the Road 111). In the two quotations above, neither Terry
nor Lucille receives a detailed description of their inner features; their beauty and sexual
charisma seem enough. Undoubtedly, there is a recurring pattern in the narrator s
characterization of women. The male gaze in On the Road is not only a matter of
characterization and introduction of the characters in the text, but it is also a highly
characteristic feature of the story itself as a pattern of action for the male characters. In quite a
number of central events Dean and Sal are actively gazing at women in a highly objectifying
way. Dean is on a constant look out for new acquaintances, and for Sal every city brings the
possibility to see women that are exotic to him. When visiting Chicago the two friends hardly do
any usual sight seeing, but instead they search for beautiful girls all over the city. The first night
Dean exclaims as he is about to enter a bar: What a weird town wow, and that woman in that
window up there, just looking down with her big breasts hanging from her nightgown, big wide
eyes ( On The Road 224 225). Here Dean expresses an almost childish joy of exploring the local

mass extinctions in Earth s history and is referred to as the K T (Cretaceous Tertiary) extinction
but is now called the Cretaceous Paleogene (K Pg) event by many researchers. So from this
information a question has been derived, How effectively does the asteroid theory explain the
extinction of dinosaurs compared to other theories? A wide variety of extinction theories have been

Some examples of the extinction theories are the toxic volcanic gasses and dust (Volcanism),

In the early to mid stages of the Cretaceous period the worlds temperatures became hotter by
about 10В°, some scientists have linked this to the Asteroid Impact theory. Others linked it to the
volcanic activity that is known today as India and Pakistan. The late Cretaceous period was a great
time of change, continents were splitting and volcanoes were spitting lots of gas and ash into the
atmosphere greatly altering climate. Whether it be gradual or sudden changes in climate dinosaurs
habitats and environment would have been affected making it harder for them to adapt. A sudden
change may have triggered a change in the weather thus affecting food sources. Gradual changes
may have slowly changed environments like cool wet areas into dry areas affecting life there in a
big way.

A team led by the Nobel Laureate Luis Alvarez demonstrated that a large bolide (generic term for
meteor, comet or asteroid) had collided with Earth close to or at the end of the Cretaceous
extinction event roughly 65 million years ago. Evidence for this is the concentration of a rare Earth
element Iridium in the sediments of areas in Italy. Iridium is rare as it is most commonly found on
bolides that have come in contact with Earth as opposed to in the Earth.

been exposed to various cultural and ethnicity background which helps to strengthen my
communication skills and knowledge toward others culture and values. It is not always easy to
take care of patients at Community Regional Medical Center, especially it has diverse and indigent

because it requires critical care assessment, along with providing education to them regarding their
disease process. However, I believe by taking care these critical ill patients helped me to grow
cultural and more understanding nurse. I enjoy taking care patients including families emotions, but

Increasing Frequency And Normality Of Piracy
Outcome
Introduction
This research project explores the increasing frequency and normality of piracy as a crime in
addition to its strong relationship with Australia. In particular, the purpose of this research project
is to explore How the rate of piracy in Australia can be reduced in addition to analysing the
fundamental factors behind the increase in the frequency of piracy, furthermore investigating
methods to reduce such criminal acts, including legal consequences.
Definition of Digital Piracy
Digital piracy or copyright infringement is essentially defined as the unauthorised sharing or use
of a product that has been copyrighted, according to the Australian Parliament House (2006).
However, the way in which the public infringe has changed over the decades. Initially, recording
music being played on the radio onto a cassette player was the inaugural generation of piracy
within our modern society. In the 1980s, recording Television (TV) onto Vertical Helical Scan
(VHS) recorders became prevalent (C Span (Created by Cable), 1986). Soon after, the copying
or ripping of Digital Versatile Discs (DVDs) and Compact Discs (CDs) soared (The Golden Age
of Piracy, 2014). However, none of these methods compare in financial losses to the present
generation of piracy the digital age (IP (Intellectual Property) Awareness Foundation, 2015). The
vast lawless regions of the internet provide the perfect haven for digital piracy. Whether content is
downloaded through peer to peer (P2P)

Geometry And Geometry
My first article author was ( Tara Mastroeni). This article is basically about how the buildings are

clouds, and the proportions of human body. Humans have incorporated it into everything from the
mathematics to artwork and music. That you or any person can make anything as long as you
know mathematics basically you can do anything. Some people say that why do you need
mathematics to build a housewell that is the biggest part in build a home or buildinganything you
need to build. Why I say that building is the most biggest part is because say you wantto measure

Almost everything we build has to do something with geometry or mathematics if you know it or
not we use geometry in everyday life. The word geometry means, to measure the earth.
Geometry is the branch of math that is concerned with studying area, distance, volume, and other
properties of shapes and lines. Now that you know how much geometry is used in building and
decorating homes you yourself can build your own home with the help of me you will know
what to do. Just make yourself a plan and just do it. One more thing, in decorating these homes
you will need a lot of supplies, the basics you will need will be things like new things you will
want to be in your house that will make you feel comfortable. If you are building your own
house make sure that you like it and you feel comfortable in it because if you don t then you
might not stay there or like living their. This can go for just buying a house from someone and
redecorating it the way you like. Most people use a measuring tape to measure the blinds of the
house, so they can go to the store and pick the right size and the kind they want to put up in their
