This is a incredible story about a Scotsman named

- Wallace's real wife was named Marian, but it was changed to
Murron to avoid confusion with the Robin Hood character of
the same name.
-The only way Gibson could get the film made was if he agreed
with Paramount studios that he would star in the film as well.

-Robert's Father: “At last, you know what it means to hate.
Now you're ready to be a king.”
-William Wallace: A lordship and titles. Gold. That I should
become Judas?
-William Wallace: Are you ready for a war?
-William Wallace: I have been given nothing. God makes men
what they are.

For me, this is simply “One of the best movie ever made”.
Containing all the elements a perfect movie should: The
soundtrack is amazing, the scenes are ingenious and the
story is simply excellent!
The extreme violence as well as the human compassion
in this movie are overwhelming in its brilliancy.
