The founder of Homeopathy is regarded as the founder of experimental pharmacology.
Myth 2: Homeopathy medicines are nothing but sugar and posses no medicinal significance . Fact: The alcohol-based pills given during homeopathic treatment are formulated and serve as carriers or transmitters of medicines. In the absence of these carriers, medicines can be consumed directly or by making a solution using water. The sugar pills without formulation do not hold any medicinal value. Homeopathy has proven to be an effective medical practice.
Myth 3: The benefits of Homeopathy drug administration is very slow and gradual. Myth 4: Homeopathy has a ‘magic cure’ for all disorder Fact: Every medical approach has its own shortcomings. The concept of ‘magic cure’ does not exist. Any food can be consumed during the course of treatment. There is no restrictions. The only criteria is to have a break between taking the medicine and food intake.
Myth 7: Homeopathy is effective only for chronic cases Fact : People tend to try all the medical practices and finally head towards Homeopathy when every other treatment has gone vain. By the time people choose to take up homeopathic medicine, the long duration of allopathic treatment will have already turned into a chronic illness. Therefore, when homeopathic treatment is started all over again, it will naturally take a long time to heal the ailment.
Myth 8: Diabetic patients cannot be treated by Homeopathy Fact: Homeopathy is widely accepted as a treatment for Diabetic patients. The misconception is that the sugar balls that are used as medicine carriers in homeopathic treatment will adversely affect diabetic patients. However, these sugar pills have negligible effects on the sugar levels of the patient. Although, in exceptional cases, the medicine may be taken by diluting in the water.
Myth 9: How is homeopathy effective, when the Homoeopathic doctor gives the same white pills for all treatment Fact: After a thorough evaluation of the patient’s condition, the homeopathic doctors formulate specific medicines into the alcohol- based white pills to treat a specific illness. These white pills only serve as transporters. The medicines that are customized are derived from over a range of 4000 different dilutions.
