The Lion
and the
Mouse

OrientationOne day, a lion was
sleeping in the forest.
Suddenly, a little mouse
ran over his face. The lion
woke up angrily and
caught the mouse.

Complication“I will eat you!” said the lion.
“Please, don’t eat me,” begged the
mouse. “One day, I will help you.”
The lion laughed loudly. “You are too
small! How can you help me?” But he let
the mouse go. A few days later, the lion was caught in
a hunter’s net. He roared loudly and
tried to escape, but he couldn’t.

the ropes until the lion was
free.
“Thank you, little mouse. You
