NATIONAL EMBLEM The Ashoka pillar, erected by Emperor Ashoka, has four lions seated back to back which imply power, courage, confidence.

NATIONAL FLAG INDIAN FLAG:- The Indian flag was hoisted on the highest mountain peak of the world, Mount Everest, on 29 May 1953 .

NATIONAL ANIMAL TIGER:- A national animal is one of the symbolic representatives of a country’s natural abundance. The choice is based on several criteria. The national animal may be selected based on how well it represents certain characteristics that a country wants to be identified with. It has to have a rich history as part of the country’s heritage and culture.

NATIONAL BIRD PEACOCK:- The national bird of a country is a designated representative of that country’s fauna. It is chosen on the basis of the unique qualities that the bird may symbolize. It should uphold certain core qualities or values of the nation it belongs to. The national bird should be a prominent feature in the cultural history of the country.

NATIONAL FLOWER LOTUS:- The national flower of a country should tie in with the culture, history and heritage of a Scientific Classification.

NATIONAL TREE BANYAN TREE:- The national tree is an instrument of projecting certain philosophical or spiritual values, which reside at the core of the country’s heritage. The national tree of India is the Banyan tree, designated formally as Ficus benghalensis. The tree is revered as sacred in Hindu philosophy.

NATIONAL FRUIT MANGO:- A particular fruit is designated as the national fruit of a country when it fulfills some key fundamental requirements. It must represent a powerful facet of the cultural attributes that a country wants to convey to the world. The fruit must have an enriching part in the country’s history.
