- Patient
feels
back
ache.
- Back
ache is
related
to labor
pain.
During
labor,
the most
common
source of
back
pain is
from the
baby’s
head
exerting
pressure
in the
lower
back,
which
happen
when
the
baby’s
head is
down
and
facing
forward.
- Patient
will go to
the near
hospital
and call
her
obstetric
if she
feels the
sympto
ms of
labor.
- Patient
will
report to
her ob-
gyne or
to the
nurse if
the
contracti
on is
regularly
or not.

- Nurse will
assess
patient
condition
and give
her a
prescribed
medicine
to ease
the pain
for the
mean
time.
- Nurse will
ask the
partner of
the patient
to
massage
her back.
- Nurse will
advice the
patient to
change
positions.
- To lessen
the pain
feel by
the
patient.
- To
educate
the
patient
regardin
g to the
pain she
feel.
- To
identify
if the
pain is
tolerable
by the
medicine
or by
doing
the
natural
way to
lessen
the pain.

nursing
