KQ: Where is
the UAE on
the world map?
Striving to be the best
The Anglo-Saxons were a group of
farmer-warriors made up of
three tribes that came over from Europe.
They were called the Angle, Saxon,
and Jute tribes.
The two largest were the Angle and Saxon
tribes, which is how we’ve come to know them
as the Anglo-Saxons today.

The Scots
The Gaelic speaking Scots, also called the Scotti, were people who
came from Ireland. They sailed across the sea and settled in
Scotland. They were family members of the Picts who had earlier
invaded Ireland, around 200AD.
Historians believe that these Irish Scots invaded and claimed land
in Scotland in the 4
th
and 5
th
centuries.
