STANDING BROAD JUMP Purpose – to measure the explosive strength of legs . Equipment – A mat 5x12 feet /long jump pit , measuring tap, lime powder etc. Test administration- with the feet parallel to each other and behind to starting mark, the performer bends the knee and swing the arms and jump forward as possible .
SCORING: THREE TRAIL IS PERMITTED, AND THEN BEST TRAIL IS RECORDED.
BABY HURDLE RACE PURPOSE: TO Measure the agility and lower body strength EQUIPMENT: LIME POWDER,BABY HURDLE ,INDIAN CLUB TEST ADMINISTRATION: 15 INCH HIGH BARR IER IS PLACED AT A DISTANCE OF 5 YARD FROM THE START ON A 60 FEET STRAIGHT LINE ,AND FOUR OTHER OBSTACLE ARE PLACED AT DISTANCEOF 3-3 YARDS.
THE INDIAN CLUB IS KEPT 3 YARD AWAY FROM THE LAST HURDLE. SCORING: Time taken from starting line to the indian club and back to the starting line is recorded.
SCRAMBLE METHOD EQUIPMENT BELL,MAT,STOPWATCH,MEASURING TAPE TEST ADMINISTRATION : UNDER this test a tape bell Is placed at a height of 4 feet at a distance of 10 feet from a wall. The girl lies on the ground on supine postion and arms Spread apart. At command go , the student gets up and runs and rings the bell Twice and come back to its initial position and tap the hand on The floor twice. This action has to be done for 4 time. Student is given a chance to test twice.
THE TIME TAKEN FROM STARTING THE TEST TILL THE FOURTH DOUBLE TAP OF THE BELL PROVIDE THE SCORE OF THE TEST ITEM . THE TIME IS RECORDED ACCURATE UPTO 0.2 SECONDS. SCORING:
