2. WEP, which stands for "Women Entrepreneurship Platform," is important for young women because it
 provides a
dedicated space and support system to encourage and empower them to pursue entrepreneurship, offering access to
resources, mentorship, funding opportunities, and networking connections that might be harder to find otherwise, thus
helping to bridge the gender gap in the business world.
 
Key reasons why WEP is beneficial for young women:
Overcoming Barriers: Traditionally, women face more hurdles in starting businesses due to societal expectations and
potential lack of access to networks and capital;
 WEP aims to address these issues by providing tailored support. 
Mentorship and Guidance: WEP connects young women with established female entrepreneurs who can share their
experiences, provide valuable advice, and guide them through the challenges of starting a business.
 
Skill Development: The platform can offer workshops, training programs, and educational resources to equip young
women with the necessary skills for entrepreneurship, including business planning, marketing, and financial
management.
 
Funding Access: WEP can facilitate access to funding sources specifically designed for women entrepreneurs, including
grants, loans, and angel investors.
 
Community Building: By bringing together young women with similar aspirations, WEP creates a supportive community
where they can share ideas, collaborate, and learn from each other.

3. Onboarding Process:
•Step 1: Access the Registration Portal
•https://wep.gov.in/?page=register&referral_code=
ARUN0252
•Ensure the portal is accessible via a desktop or
mobile device.

4. Step 2: Create a New Account
•Fill the below given required information and do submit for registration.
•Select the option to sign up via Mobile Number or Email. Alternatively, you can sign up using both Mobile and Email
for added verification.
•Provide basic information such as:
•First name
•Last name
•Set password
•Use the referral code 'ARUN0252' (This code will be applied by default when you open the website through the
provided link).
After the registration is complete and the OTP is verified, you'll have access to the platform to complete your profile
and explore available opportunities.

5. •Step 3: Set Up Profile
•Fill in more detailed profile information such as:
•Personal Information (Gender, DOB, Address,
Educational details)
•Professional experience (if applicable)
•LinkedIn or portfolio (if relevant)
•About yourself

•Select Aspiring Business
•Fill the Business requirements and other
required information

•Mention the challenges if found in the list or
select others
•Do submit to complete the profile

8. Step 5: Explore Available Projects
•Once registered, explore the available opportunities and projects related to your skills and interests.
•Express interest or apply to relevant positions/projects available in NITI Aayog.
Step 6: Monitor Progress
•After applying, monitor your application status and progress directly through the portal.
•Receive notifications for upcoming interviews, assessments, or project selection.
Step 7: Continuous Engagement
•Stay engaged by checking the portal for updates, new opportunities, and professional development resources.
