1. NODAL POINTS: Two points located on the principal axis of a lens or a optical system,that can incident the ray directed through,one will produce a parallel emergent ray directedto the other.These points are NODAL POINTS.

2. In simple words we can say that , A pair of points on the principal axis of an optical system having unit positive angular magnification between them is called a pair of NODAL POINTS.
