NOUN A noun is used of a person, thing, place, idea, and quality of a person.
A) COMMON NOUN - It is the name given in common to every person or a thing of same kind. Ex- boy, girl, teacher etc. KINDS OF NOUN Boy Girl Teacher
B) PROPER NOUN- It is a name given to a particular person , thing or place. Ex- Kolkata, India, Earth etc. Kolkata India Earth
C) Collective Noun- It is a noun of collection of persons and things treated and spoken together as a whole. Ex- audience , classroom etc. Audience Classroom
D) Abtruct Noun-It is a name of a quality, idea, conceptor state. Ex- Beauty, Death etc. Beauty Death
E) Material noun-It is the name of regarding materials. Ex- gold, tea, wheat etc Gold Tea Wheat
In modern English Nouns are broadly divided into two category- 1) Countable Nouns 2)Uncountable Nouns NUMBER OF A NOUN Note- generally before countable noun the articles such as a, an, the can be written but in case of uncountable noun the above articles are not written. Example: countable noun- a glass of water Uncountable noun- I need some rice

These are 3 types- Masculine Gender , Feminine Gender , Common Gender Masculine Gender - A noun that denotes a male. Ex- Father, King, Cock, Husband etc. GENDER OF NOUN Father King
Feminine Gender - A noun that denotes a female. Ex- Sister, lady, nun, hen, madam etc. Hen lady
Common Gender - A noun that denotes either a male or a female. Ex- police, teacher, doctor, child, student, people etc. Police Doctor
