2. Nutrition are the food substances that maintenance, growth, reproduction, health and disease management of humans and animals. Types : 1. Macronutrients: Ex: carbohydrates, fiber, fats, protein and water etc. 2. Micronutrients: Ex: minerals, vitamins and others

3. Protein Deficiency Signs and symptoms: Feather pecking Cannaibilism Ruffled feathers Perosis or slipping of gastrocnemius tendon Retardation of growth and egg production

4. Treatment : Crude protein for layer chicks 21% and broilers 22.5% Cotton seed cake, soybean, groundnut cake. Protein supplements - Vetcare - Lyoscare Application of spray
