27. Prefixes
Adding a prefix to the beginning of a
word changes the meaning of the word.
Therefore, prefixes help to identify the
meaning of a word easier.
The prefixes are some prefixes you can
find from Listening 1:

1. dis- opposite of dis+ orders = disorders
(Meaning: illness)
2. under-not fully under+ developed = underdeveloped
(Meaning: not fully developed)
3. re- again re+ bound = rebound
(Meaning: recover)
3. un- not un+ easy = uneasy
(Meaning: worried)

changes the part of speech, for example,
