3 Here is how to scan a printed document using Microsoft Lens:

4 Step 1 : Select the paper document you wish to scan.

5 Step 2 : Place the document you want to scan on a flat surface.

6 Step 3 : Open the Microsoft Lens App on your device.

7 Step 4 : Select the Document option at the bottom of your screen by using the slide bar.

8 Step 5 : Position your device so that it is parallel to the document and does not create shadows.

9 Step 6 : Align the orange highlighted box with the edges of your document by moving your device.

10 Step 7 : Press the white button at the bottom of your screen to capture and scan the image.

11 Step 8 : If you have additional pages to add to the document, select the icon.

12 Step 10 : Repeat steps 1-8 for the additional pages of the document.

13 Step 11 : After all pages are scanned, select .

14 Step 12 : Export the scanned document through another application.

15 Step 13 : Select to swipe through even more application options. SWIPE

16 Step 14 : Follow the prompts of your selected application to export your document.
