4. INTRODUCTION Boholanos are mainly found in Bohol. The fact that Bohol is a countryside, it is quite obvious that people who lives in there, grew up with a simple and peaceful life. This culture may be featured in different documentaries in internet and around online platforms. They have showed the different practices, versions of food, dress, way of living, traditions, and beliefs. All cultures has beauty to be showed as well as it's flaws. This culture may not be perfect as it seems but being one of it makes it more interesting. Have you ever heard about the culture of Boholanos in Bohol and in different part of the Land of Promise; Mindanao? Let's delve more about the culture I grew up with!

7. Bohol’s best tourist spots are more on exploring nature. This proves that Bohol is a home of peace and warmth to people who wants to feel relax, breathe, and enjoy nature after a tiring day!

9. Boholanos are known for their variety of food. Food such as what we call " kakanin " which are: suman (usually made in " malagkit " or " balanghoy "), kalamay hati , and bibingka, because they believed that sticky food symbolizes close and strengthen bonds. But most of all, the all-time favorite delicates of our culture are " tableya " and what we call " buko lamaw ". In other cultures, " lamaw " means dirty food or some food made for pigs, but in Boholanos, it is a food mixed with different ingredients to become a simple yet tasty desert.

10. BOHOL AND ITS PEOPLE Due to the fact that Bohol is in the countryside, it is quite obvious that people who live there have a simple and peaceful life <3

11. We grew up in a conservative yet close family, so we often have good bonds with one another. Just like in Cebuanos /Bisayan culture, we also like celebrating and hanging out with our family to strengthen the bonds. Since Boholanos live far from the city, we are literally being taught how to build connections with our neighbors and friends. Relationships with others are one of our treasures in life.
