INTRODUCTION Ola is an Indian online transportation company and Cab aggregator based in Bengaluru & among the fastest growing taxi hiring firms. Taxi booking facility can be availed through app, website or through calls. It was founded on 3 December,2010 by Bhavish Aggarwal (currently CEO) and Ankit Bhati (CTO-Chief Technical Officer) Name has been derived from a Spanish word- ’ HOLA ’ means OLA.

Objective Of The Study The objective of the study is to see: To see that how much people are interested in cab booking and how much satisfaction they are gaining from it. To see how ola is contributing in Indian Economy.

Research Methodology All the data has been collected by by the primary and secondary sources like: OLA app Reviews GOOGLE SITES OLA REPRESENTATIVES OLA WEBSITE

HISTORY By 2014, the company has expanded to a network of more than 18000 cars across more than 65 cities. In November 2014,OLA expanded to incorporate autos on-trial basis in Bengaluru Post the trial phase, OLA Auto expanded to other cities like Delhi,Pune and Chennai starting December 2014. In April2015, over 40,000cabs are registered & successfully running across 22 cities of India.

Components Of OLA Cabs Mission: a marketplace for all types of cabs and car rentals. Vision: “ We are a young and energetic company based in Mumbai . Nothing excites us more than using technology to bring the same efficiency and customer experience to the car rental industry that you expect from flights .!” Goals: Short-term goals include improving the rental cabs system in India. Objectives: To bring convenience, price transparency & standardization to consumers booking car rentals &cab service. Targets: Customers who are in need of cab instantly.

Types of OLA Cabs

SERVICES OLA provides different type of cab service ranging from economic to luxury travel. The cabs are reserved through a web browser or a mobile app. This cab service supports both cash and cashless payment options with OLA Money. It claims to clock an average of more than 150,000 bookings per day and commands 60 percent of the market share in India. Options of Call Police and Alert Contacts was there in the App for security basis.

EMPLYOMENT GENERATION

Businesss model OLA ensures that every driver earns Rs.1300 per day in 10 bookings which is MBG*-Minimum Business Guarantee. OLA compensates by adding money to Driver’s account linked with OLA after deducting 20% commission if driver fails to meet MBG. OLA also charges 1x,1.5x,2x of normal fare during Peak Hours which are usually between 7am to 11am and 4pm to 8pm Different fares for diifferent categories of vehicle: Ola Share Micro Mini Prime Auto

OLA’s Top Seven Cities Bangalore Chennai Delhi Pune Mumbai Jaipur Chandigarh 5000 CABs in Chandigarh has successfully secured 7 th rank in the list of 102 cities .
