Omakayas life

2. The Girl from Spirit Island There was only one person left alive in Spirit Island and that girl was a baby .

3. The Birchbark House The girl from Spirit Island now had a new family who nicknamed her Little Frog . It was summer time so that meant they needed to build a birchbark house to be comfortable .

4. Old Tallow Omakayas was the only child that Old Tallow seemed to treat different from others.

5. On the way home from Old Tallow's cabin Omakayas found heartberries. Further on her way Omakayas found two bear cubs and fed them some of her berries.

6. The Return When Omakayas returned from Old Tallows' cabin her mom asked her if she could take care of Neewo. Neewo was Omakayas ' little brother, and her favorite brother.

7. Andeg Omakayas and Angeline were put to protect the corn fields from the crows. They had not brought any food for their family so Angeline suggested to catch crows to eat . But when they were catching the crows Omakayas found a young crow trying to free itself .

8. The Visitor The visitor had a terrible disease that was named smallpox. The disease spread around the tribe and some of the people in Omakayas' tribe did not survive.
