The main concept of this project is to build a website, which should be able to allow people to cast their vote by online. Time saving, working load reduced, information available at time and it provide security for the data. During the blue-chip election of our college, this technique finds its major use.

4. 1. INTRODUCTION On-line Voting System is a web-based system that facilitates the running of elections and surveys online. Online Voting System provides the online registration form for the users before voting and makes the users to cast their vote online. The system is to be developed with high security and user friendly. 4

5. 2. PROBLEM STATEMENT 5 As information technology evolves over time, the need for a better, faster, more convenient and secure online voting is essential requirement. The security is one of the main concerns, such as authentication, confidentiality, integrity and non-repetition. It is not an easy task to achieve secure e-voting.

APPROACH TO SOLUTION 6 If a secure and convenient electronic voting system is provided, it will be used more frequently to collect people’s opinion for much kind of political and social decisions through cyber space. This system has been developed to simplify the process of organizing elections and make it convenient for voters to vote remotely from their home computers while taking into consideration security, anonymity and providing auditioning capabilities

10. 7. APPLICATIONS 10 The web-application for today’s mobile and digitally advanced society to participate in the democratic process over the internet. The online voting system offers the highest levels of transparency, control, security and efficiency of election processes.

CONCLUSION 11 From the technical point of view, it would be possible to implement an online voting system, but there are deficiencies in how the verifiability and the prevention of pressuring voters could be reconciled. This e-voting system is able to validate the voter's identity well and prevent repeating the election. 3. This e-voting system can store data safely and reliably. 4. By using this electoral system, the voting process will be much faster and safer. 5. The voting process and the calculation of the number of votes will be faster because the voting process is done in real-time.
