2. Defintion Defintion of open book fracture : fracture that happens when there is AP compression in the pelvis that leads to pupis symphysis widening and disruption of Sacroiliac joint . Causes : anterior posterior compression,road traffic accident,crusing injury

3. Presntation of the patient Severe pelvic pain Perianal or scrotal or labial brusing Hemodynamic instability (internal iliac injury,venous plexus injury) Pelvic instability Urogential injury (blood in urethral meatus,inability to void,high riding prostate on rectal exam)
