Operation Credible Sport The Second Iranian Hostage Rescue Plan

The first rescue mission, Operation Eagle Claw, ended in failure. Eight dead Americans in the Iranian desert. Wrecked helicopters and a plane.

A second mission is prepared. To prevent the same helicopter problem, it’s decided to employ a modified C-130 cargo plane. Using rocket assists, the plane is designed to land and take off in extremely short distances: inside a soccer stadium, in Tehran. One of the members of my A-Team is chosen to participate in the raid.

Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. 29 October 1980. All test flights have been successful. So far. The last test flight of the modified C-130 cargo plane is scheduled.

Eglin Air Force Base, Florida 29 October 1980. Time Patrol agent Eagle faces the decision whether to let the test fail and history be the same? Or does he save the plane?

What if this second mission launches? Will it lead to a massacre on the streets of Tehran? If it succeeds? Does Carter get re-elected instead of Reagan? If it fails, will there be war between the United States and Iran?

Our timeline is being attacked. If the Shadow can change six events in the past, on the same day in different years, it will cause a Time Tsunami and out timeline will be wiped out. The only thing standing between us and obliteration is: the Time Patrol

What will Eagle decide?
