Definition
Otitis media, also known as
middle ear infection, occurs
when bacteria or viruses infect
the middle ear, causing
inflammation and fluid buildup.

1. Acute Otitis Media (AOM):
Sudden onset, severe symptoms.
2. Chronic Otitis Media: Persistent

3. Otitis Media with Effusion
(OME): Fluid buildup without
