Adverbs of frequency

Read these sentences.

When do we use adverbs of frequency? We use adverbs of frequency – like sometimes   or   usually   – to say how often we do things , or how often things happen .

We put the adverbs of frequency: After the subject and before the verb → He usually goes to school on foot. After the verb to be → I am never late for school.

We put the adverbs of frequency: Negative: between the auxiliary verb and the main verb → Grace doesn’t always play volleyball. Interrogative: before the main verb → Do you often visit your grandparents?

We put once and twice at the end of the sentence: → We eat an ice cream once a week . → The boys have got football practice twice a week .

We use: once for 1 time twice for 2 times
