Noun Definition: A noun is a naming word of a person, place, animal and thing. Types of Noun: Common Noun Proper Noun Collective Noun Abstract Noun Eg: The boy is running. Mumbai is very crowded city.
Pronoun Definition: A pronoun is a word that is used in place of a noun. Types of Pronoun: Possessive Pronoun Reflexive Pronoun Relative Pronoun Eg: He is playing cricket. They were fighting.
Verb & Adverb Definition : A verb is an action word. Eg: The boy is laughing. He is playing Definition : Adverb is a word that describes a verb or tells more about a verb. Eg: He talks very politely He walks slowly
Adjective Definition: Adjective is a word that describes a noun or tells more about a noun. Eg: That boy is very clever . He is very naughty. He is a bad boy.
Preposition Definition: A preposition is a word that shows a position of a noun. Eg: He was hiding under the table. The Aeroplane flew over my head.
Conjunction Definition: A conjunction is a word that joins words or group of words together. Eg: I ate pizza and pasta. Eight and eight make sixteen. He is smart and handsome.
Interjection Definition: An interjection is a word that shows a strong emotion. Eg: Bravo! We won the match. Ouch! I hurt myself. Congrats! You finally got your Master’s degree.
