W HEN DO WE USE P AST S IMPLE T ENSE ? We use Past Simple Tense when we talk about completed actions in the past . Example: I washed my car yesterday. She ate pizza last night.

REGULAR VERBS 3 There are two groups of verbs when we talk about the past simple: IRREGULAR VERBS

REGULAR VERBS 4 To form the affirmative past tense of most regular verbs: Add – ed to the base form of the verb (wash- washed ). If the verb ends in –e , add –d (live- lived ) Regular Verb Past Simple walk walk ed want want ed help help ed decide decid ed agree agre ed
