protectionandcarryoutanyactionthatthisrequires.

Absolute rights:

Limited rights:
Limitedrightscanbelimitedonlyinspecific

Qualified rights:
Qualifiedrightscanbelimitedinawiderrangeof
circumstancesthanlimitedrights.
Forexample;
Someone'srighttofreedomofexpressionmay
competewithanother'srighttorespectforprivate
life.

Typesofpatientsrights:
•legal,thoseemanatingfromthelaw.
•humanstatementsofdesirableethicalprinciples,such
astherighttohealthcareortherighttobetreatedwith
humandignity.
Bothstaffandpatientsshouldbeawareofandunderstand
notonlytheirownrightsandresponsibilitiesbutalsothe
rightsandresponsibilitiesofoneanother.

Definition of bill of rights:
Itisasetofprescriptionssettingforththe
fundamentalcivilandpoliticalrightsoftheindividual
andimposinglimitationsonthepowersof
governmentasameansofsecuringtheenjoymentof
thoserights.

Purposes of bill of rights:
•to preserve democratic ideals
•to safeguard fundamental rights
•to promote the happiness of the individual
