Discuss the historical background and rules of Badminton. 2. Describe the nature of the sports. 3. Appreciate the importance of physical activities to one's health.

Classroom Rules: Be prepared for class. Raise your hand when you want to speak. Participate in all class activities. Be mindful of the time.

ACTIVITY 1 In this activity, you will be able to tell if you have signs of physical fitness. Do this activity in pairs. You are going to take turns in asking these questions to your partner.

WHAT ARE THE INDICATORS OR SIGN OF PHYSICAL FITNESS? 1. Do you like doing physical activities? 2. Can you stretch your muscles without feeling discomfort or pain?

WHAT ARE THE INDICATORS OR SIGN OF PHYSICAL FITNESS? 3 . Can you move your body with little or no difficulty? 4. Can you run 1.6 kilometers in eight minutes with ease? 5. Is the amount of your fat less than your weight of lean, bones, and body grams?

Being PHYSICALLY FIT is defined as the ability to carry out daily task without getting tired. So being physically fit is not measure in physique of a person by on how he/she able to carry out daily task without getting tired immediately.

ACTIVITY 2 The class will be divided into four groups. Each group will be given a set of papers that contains words/phrases. You need to arrange those words/phrases to come up with an indicator of physical fitness. Give example movements of each component.

APPLICATION: Activity #3 To apply the things that we discussed a while ago, the class will be divided based on your interest in the development of your particular components of physical fitness. You are going to execute different movements based on the task that you will choose. Presentation will be done by group.

Using your five senses with body parts involved in physical fitness. 4. Is the ability to control your body so that you would not fall. 5. Is the skill you need to change and control the direction and position of your body quickly.
