e-HEALTH LITERACY
E-health literacy refers to the ability to seek, find, understand, and appraise health information from electronic sources and apply the knowledge gained to addressing or solving a health problem.
Characteristics of an e-health literate individual
1. Navigating Online Health Resources : Knowing where and how to search for credible health information. 2. Evaluating the Quality of Information : Being able to critically assess the accuracy, reliability, and relevance of the health information found online.
3. Understanding Health Content : Comprehending the health information to make it useful for personal health decisions. 4. Applying Information to Health Decisions : Using the information to manage personal health effectively, whether it be for prevention, treatment, or lifestyle changes.

GROUP ACTIVITY
GROUP 1: Research and Presentation Task : Students will research a health topic of their choice online (e.g., mental health, nutrition, exercise). They will evaluate the information they find using the characteristics of e-health literacy and present their findings in a short presentation.
GROUP 2: Info graphic Creation (For Visual and Creative Learners) Task : Students will create an info graphic that visually represents the characteristics of an e-health literate individual. They should include examples of how each characteristic can be applied in real life.
GROUP 3 : Role-Playing Scenario Task : Students will create and act out a scenario where someone searches for health information online and must decide whether to trust it. They should demonstrate how to evaluate the information using e-health literacy principles.
