EXPLANATION #1 (people) This man is part of the ‘Big Three’ his n ame is George Clemenceau he was the Prime Minister of France. This man is also part of the ‘Big Three’ his name is David Lloyd George he was the Prime Minister of Britain. This man is also part of the ‘Big T hree’ his name i s Woodrow Wilson he was the President of the United States of America. This man was the Italian president b ut he wasn’t part of the ‘Big Three’ a nd isn’t really important in this picture. This poor boy represents a German c hild who was born in 1920 who m ight die in the future war.

explanation #2 The Treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty, Germany was forced to sign the treaty. The ‘Big Three’ leaving the palace of Versailles after Germany signed the treaty. The child was crying because he represent Germany. This piece of art work is drew before the WWII so this artist basically predicted the future.

Explanation #3 Clemenceau earned the nickname the ‘tiger’ because he was pretty harsh with the treaty . The reason behind the colors of the big three is because Clemenceau was mostly leading the whole treaty. In the bottom of the page of the artwork said “Curious! I seem to hear a child weeping!”
