PEDIATRIC VACCINATIONS Philippine Guidelines on Periodic Health Examination

INTRODUCTION Immunization is one of the most important public health achievements of the 20th century, second only to clean water. Vaccines protect vulnerable populations from disability and death, prevent the spread of disease, promote socioeconomic growth and development, and help ensure a healthier, safer world.

OBJECTIVE To present evidence-based recommendations and best practices on immunization for the prevention of vaccine-preventable diseases outside the scope of routine infant immunization provided by the National Immunization Program (NIP)
