Types of Personal Hygiene
Hand Hygiene:
Germs on your hands can easily enter your body through
your mouth, nose, eyes, or ears. Wash your hands when
you handle food, before you eat, if you handle garbage,
whem you sneeze, anytime you touch an animal etc.
Hands must be washed with soap and water or alcoho-
based hand sanitizer. Follow proper procedure of
handwashing.

Wash your hands after you use the restroom. Scrub with
soap for at least 20 to 30 seconds, and be sure to clean
between your fingers, on the back of your nails . Rinse with
water and dry with a clean towel.

hand sanitizer will also work . Use one that’s atleast 70 %
alcohol.

lacks of proper hygiene practices can lead to an increases
risk of infections , as bacteria and virus spread more easily.
This can lead in skin infections, respiratory illnesses, and
even gastro intestinal problems. Poor personal Hygiene
can also lead to isolations and embarrassment, impaction
social interactions. Furthermore feeling unclean can
negatively impact self-confidence and self worth . In the
long run, untreated infections and diseases can lead to
higher healthcare expenditures.
