2. Perspective on Life is a risky business. We all continuously face risks of some sort or another. Sometimes we face risky monetary decisions; sometimes we face dangers to life and limb. Not only do we face these dangers, we make decisions daily about them and compare, even ifonly implicitly, the risk to the benefit. In'these everyday choices that we make consciously or unconsciously, we assess the risk more or less crudely, assess the benefits of monetary gain, pleasure, or other objectives, and make our own trade off.
