TIPS TO SUCCESSFUL PERSUASION Focus on the needs of the other party. Argue your case with logic. Use positive rather than negative language. Subtly complement the other party. Mirroring the other person’s mannerism e.g.(hand and body movements). Try to remember the names of everyone you meet.

Conclusion It takes time, but develop these skills, and you will start to develop ‘authentic power’, which means that you have power because people believe in what you’re saying.
