COLLABORATION EFFORTS WITH RELEVANT AGENCIES TO IMPLEMENT NTDS CONTROL PROGRAMS WHO collaborating centers. Role is to provide strategic support to the implementation of NTDS programs. Improve institutional capacity in different countries

MDA CAMPAINS FOR NTD MDA, also known as Preventive Chemotherapy. it requires providing treatment to an entire population irrespective of their disease status.

MDA CAMPAIGNS FOR NTD Pharmacists Roles in MDA Campaigns are as follows; Identify where treatment is needed. Raise awareness of the diseases and treatment process Train local volunteers in the handling and dispending of medcines

MDA CAMPAIGNS FOR NTD Receive, Store and distribute medicines Pharmacovigilance and Report of Adverse Events that occurred during MDA campaign. Evaluate the impact of MDA Campaign.

Pharmacists can advocate for policies that support access to essential medicines for NTDS.

CONCLUSION Stakeholders and all healthcare Professionals have an essential role in the eradication of neglected tropical diseases. Pharmacists play key roles in preventing and managing Neglected Tropical Diseases. Pharmacists serve as communicators, quality drug supplier, collaborators, trainers and supervisors as a health promoter.
