Abstract To design and fabricate a “Hydro jet”(semi-automatic roof cleaning machine) which is capable of cleaning dirt, grime, algae etc. on roof having reliable slope. To make the controlling of the machine user friendly such that person with less technical knowledge is able to use it. The Hydro jet project is a targeted effort aimed at improving the condition and functionality of building rooftops. Through systematic cleaning methods and the application of eco-friendly solutions, the project seeks to eliminate accumulated debris, dust, and pollutants

Relevance of the work One of the best benefits of roof cleaning is that it can extend the life of the roof. A clean roof is less likely to develop leaks and other problems, which means it will last longer. A clean rooftop can reflect more sunlight, reducing heat absorption and contributing to lower cooling costs, making it environmentally and economically beneficial. To make a machine which will take care of safety of persons, save time and also shouldn’t damage roof structure.

Summary of Literature Review

Problem Formulation The traditional roof top cleaning method that used by the people may leads to excess use of water, also while cleaning the roof top they used chemicals, causing Environment harm. Ensuring the safety of workers and the structural integrity of rooftops during the cleaning process is crucial. Climbing the roof tops with the help of DC Motor is not so efficient .

Objectives To design an Ecofriendly Roof top cleaning device. To design and develop a device which cleans the rooftop to maintain the integrity and functionality of the roof structure. To design a device which will reduce the manual work and make the system automated
