Philippines and Myanmar Relationship in 1956

The Philippines and Myanmar established their relationship in September 1956.

1. Because of
communication
Philippines and
Myanmar were able
to build a healthy
relationship towards
each other.
They both
become
members of
ASEAN charter.
They both strengthened
their trade relationship
by signing several
memorandums of
understanding (MoUs).
A lot of inverstors were
attracted because of the
healthy relationship of
the said Nations.
They slowly become
well-known to other
country despite of
imperfection both
countries had.
Myanmar has an
embassy in Manila
and Philippines
maintains its
embassy in Yangoon
and later Rangoon.
Formal bilateral and
diplomatic relations of
both countries
established in
September 1956.
