Introduction
The basics of iqbal and
spirituality
The study and utilization of spirituality in contemporary society have been
greatly influenced by the works of the renowned philosopher and poet, Allama
Iqbal (Ghani & Ahmad, 2015)
Iqbal has left an indelible mark on the exploration of spirituality (Ghani &
Ahmad, 2015)

His writings have provided invaluable insights into the realm of spirituality,
addressing its significance in personal development and its potential for
transforming society (iqbal, 1930).

Introduction
Studying iqbal and
mysticism
Iqbal's spirituality is an apparent
illustration that can be used in current
times and give the people personality
and arm them against west’s culture and
finally guarantee his dignity, glory and
victory. (saiedy,2020)

Introduction
Throughout his works, Iqbal emphasized the significance of self-realization and
spiritual awakening as fundamental to one's growth and development. Azad and Sharif
(2017) elucidate that Iqbal's mysticism and spirituality are intricately interconnected,
portraying the depth of his insights on the transformative power of spiritual learning.
Moreover, Khan (2018) underscores Iqbal's philosophical vision of "Khudi," or the
concept of self, highlighting its central role in his understanding of spiritual
development and the mystical journey. Qureshi (2015) delves into Iqbal's perspective on
mystical experiences and spiritual learning, shedding light on the profound influence of
mysticism on Iqbal's worldview and his emphasis on experiential spiritual knowledge.

development

integrate Iqbal's spiritual teachings into their
lives exhibit enhanced self-awareness,
resilience, and spiritual well-being (Khalid,

Methodlogy
In the making of this synopsis various research
methods have been employed such as the use of
deductive reasoning where I first started from
general assumptions and then generally along the
line moved on to specific conclusions backed by
references and citations taken from acclaimed
research papers and books
In this synopsis I use the statement “A study of
Iqbal’s spiritual vision for the transcendent
learning” as a foundation on which I further built
upon
Deductive reasoning

Methodology
Data collection
The research has gathered material from various
sources such as research papers, articles and
books written both by allama iqbal and others
later down the line trying to understand and
reflect on his views and thoughts based on their
own findings

Finall review and
findings
Iqbal's teachings remind us of the need to
balance materialism with spiritual growth,
in order to lead fulfilling and meaningful
lives. As we strive for personal and
societal transformation, Iqbal's
perspectives on spirituality guide us
towards a harmonious coexistence and a
collective pursuit of a more compassionate
and enlightened future. (iqbal,1930)
