¿Qué es el conocimiento filosófico? El conocimiento filosófico es el conocimiento que se obtiene de practicar la  filosofía . El conocimiento filosófico no requiere comprobación experimental. La naturaleza del conocimiento filosófico varía acorde a la concepción que se tenga de la filosofía en sí. Por ejemplo, si se tiene una concepción de la filosofía como ejercicio racional, el conocimiento que se obtiene de ella será racional. En cambio, si se piensa que la filosofía es un ejercicio reflexivo, se obtiene de ella un conocimiento del tipo reflexivo.

Para algunos filósofos, como Aristóteles , el conocimiento filosófico es el conocimiento de las causas fundamentales de las cosas. Quienes sostienen esta postura suelen dedicarse a la metafísica. También están quienes consideran que el conocimiento filosófico es un conocimiento de la vida en general. Estos filósofos se dedican a pensar cómo vivir mejor y tienen una concepción de la filosofía más ética que metafísica. Existen tantas formas de conocimiento filosófico como posturas sobre la filosofía. Sin embargo, y a pesar de sus diferencias, todas coinciden en que ambas cuestiones, la filosofía y el conocimiento que se obtiene de ella, se relacionan de una manera tan íntima y profunda como la forma en que se relacionan la filosofía y la vida.

Historia y tipos de conocimiento filosófico Muchos filósofos quisieron responder a estas y otras preguntas que giran alrededor de la cuestión. Más allá de sus diferencias, todos ellos coinciden en que para que haya conocimiento tiene que haber un sujeto que quiera conocer un objeto cualquiera (ya sea una mesa, una zapatilla, un país o una idea). El conocimiento filosófico es tan antiguo y complejo como la filosofía misma. ¿Qué hace que el conocimiento filosófico sea filosófico? ¿Qué lo distingue del conocimiento en general?

El objeto determina lo que se puede conocer de él. El objeto no determina lo que se puede conocer de él, sino que el sujeto condiciona cómo puede darse ese objeto.
