UNDERSTANDING THE TERMS- ( ISO ) International Standard Organizatio n ISO is simply setting that will brighten or darken a photo. As you increase your ISO number, your photos will grow progressively brighter. For that reason, ISO can help you capture images in darker environments, or be more flexible about your aperture and shutter speed settings. Shutter Speed A camera takes a photograph by exposing a digital sensor (or a piece of film) to light. The shutter is simply a barrier that keeps light out when you’re not taking a photo. Pressing the button at the top of the camera (it’s actually called the shutter release) opens the shutter, and when the shutter is open, an image is recorded. When the shutter closes, the camera stops recording. The shutter speed, then, is just how long that barrier stays open to let light into the image.  Shutter speed is how long an image is exposed to light — it can be milliseconds, or even minutes. WHITE BALANCE Adjusts the color balance of light when you're shooting in. It changes the photo into warmer tones -yellow and cooler tones- blue

PRO MODE SETTING IN ONEPLUS NORD Higher ISO means the pictures tends to be brighter vs lower ISO produces a shaper but darker image. White balance (WB) changes the colour from either a yellowish to a bluish tint or vice versa. This may help capture the right tone in the picture. Shutter speed will alter how much light enters the sensor. Shutter speed goes from fast (<1/8000) up to 30 secs. Slower the speed (e.g. towards 30 sec), the longer the shutter remains opens allowing more light into the sensor. Exposure allows you to control how bright or dark the picture appears. This feature becomes useful if you want to lighten or darken the entire picture. Every setting in Pro Mode has an Auto or default option. The focus and exposure are by default set to Auto. The remaining three will adjust to the environment or what the camera is focusing on and that is why these numbers change accordingly.
