Plan my idea Title – unknown My idea consists of a short film lasting around 10 – 15 mins. I am going to be showing the progression and love for music by following the life of a young and upcoming artist. I will be filming her life and the need to be seen in the music industry. I will do this by highlighting her confidence growth. I am going to make this a silent film as I really want the concept to be shown. I will be filming in my own house, on college campus as well as in the town centre demonstrating how Sunderland can be a good place to start on the music scene, as seen through the gig and concert venues. This will be shown in my short film. I really want to try and target my specific audience to show them sunderland music culture and highlight the opportunities available within this area.
Why I think it would work I believe this would be a great idea as I feel as though my work can really highlight the music scene as well as Sunderland culture. I am very interested in music therefore my work can be shared amongst other people interested in music. This can create a buzz around the music scene and encourage people to be more involved in the area. It can create new opportunities for people who may be nervous to get into playing instruments. This means that I can feel comfortable within myself that I may have made some sort of an influence can not only peoples interests but sunderlands culture. Sunderland bright lights are looking for someone to target a specific audience and target audience are the up-and-coming age of Sunderland. Targeting adolescents creates a pathway to the future of music.

Evidence and feedback I gathered good feedback from my ideas. I explained it too my peers in a focus group. I explained wyhat I wanted to do and why I wanted to do this. This then led to me asking questions about how they felt about my idea and gathered some feedback. Everyone seemed to have good feedback on my work as there was nothing that I needed to change from the results. As all of my peers were happy with my idea I felt as though I could go forward with my idea and make sure that I stuck to my initial plan and made a short film based around music. If I had any criticism I would have reflected on this and made some changes according to my feedback.
