THABANA- NTLENYANA Thabana-Ntlenyana , mountain peak (11,424 feet)3,482 meters in the Drakensberg and the highest in Africa south of Kilimanjaro. The peak lies in Lesotho, an independent country entirely within South Africa, just west of the border with the province of KwaZulu-Natal. Nearby the headwaters of the Senqu river (Orange River) , which flows west to the Atlantic Ocean.

SEHLABA THEBE NATIONAL PARK Sehlabathebe National Park is located in the Maloti Mountains in Qacha’s Nek district ,Lesotho, is part of the larger Maloti Drakensberg world heritage, the park was first established on May 8, 1969 The landscape is dominated by grassland of various types. The larger ecosystem as a whole performs invaluable functions including providing freshwater to Lesotho , South Africa and Namibia

TS’EHLANYANE NATIONAL PARK Ts’ehlanyane National Park is only one of the two national parks in Lesotho , and makes up the integral part of the greater Maloti/ Drankensberg Transfrontier Park. The park has an altitude ranging from 1940 to 3112 meters and is considered mostly sub-alpine. It owes its origin to the access road to the Hlotse tunnel as part of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.

BOKONG NATURE RESERVE Bokong Nature Reserve is one of the highest reserve in Africa. It lies at the top o Mafika-Lisiu pass, leading to Katse Dam and reaches an altitude of 3090m above sea level.

HA KOME CAVE HOUSES Ha Kome Cave Houses are an anomaly in this area, 21km from Teyateyaneng (TY) and several kilometers from the village of Mateka. These extraordinary inhabited mud dwellings are nestled under a rock overhang, hidden within the pink and orange cliffs.

KATSE DAM The Katse dam , in the Lesotho Highlands , is one of the most spectacular water features in the country. Located in the Malibamatso River, this dam was completed in 1997 and is central to the Lesotho Highlands Water Project.

SANI PASS Sani pass is the mother of all South African mountain passes. It is situated between Lesotho boarder and South Africa boarder. The pass was built in 1950 and remains a challenging drive because of its gravel road between Mokhotlong and Underberg in South Africa.
