REVISION Q1. Can you tell me if all the plants on earth are same? Ans. All plants are different. They differ in colour, size, function, etc.

REVISION Q2. Do all plants make their own food? Ans. No! Some plants make their own food and some plants eat insects!!!

REVISION Q3. What are the parts of a plant? Ans. Root, Stem, Leaf, Flower, Fruit.

REVISION Q4. Do all plants have the same height? Ans. No! All plants have different heights!

Classification of Plants : Trees Are trees plants? YES!!! They are plants that are very tall in height! Trees: have a hard, thick, and brown stem called TRUNK! have many branches give flowers and fruits to us. Thus, trees are plants that very tall, big and perennial (live for many years). Ex: Mango, Neem, Banyan, etc.

Classification of Plants : Shrub Are all plants that have a brown and hard stem TREES? NO!!! Some plants with brown and hard stem grow shorter than trees……. They are called Shrubs! Shrubs: have a hard, thick, and brown stem! have many branches give flowers and fruits to us are shorter than trees in height Thus, shrubs are plants that very not very tall, they also give flowers and fruits, have many branches, and live for a few years. Ex: Rose, Hibiscus, Tulsi , etc.

Classification of Plants : Herb Do all plants have brown stems? NO!!! Some plants have green and flexible stems……. They are called Herbs! Herbs: have green and flexible stem! are very short in height ( usually 1 – 1.5 meter ) have a very short life ( 2 months – 2 years) Thus, herbs are plants that very short, they also give flowers and fruits, and live for a very short time. Ex: Coriander , Mint , etc.
